"They know how to do hot chicken here right! I've gotten both the chicken sandwich and chicken tenders here. I go with the spice level of medium, and trust me it is not to be taken lightly. It is really well seasoned, and the spice really does have a good pungent hit to it. It's not spice for spice-sake, but it is good. Definitely check this place out"
"The brioche bun, slaw, and pickles are classic perfection. The medium heat has a great spice level for me. It had my nose running a bit but no tears. It's not lying about being hot! Waffle fries are incredible, and they even have their own house made version of chick fe'les sauce that is perfect and hopefully free of any religious bigotry! Unfortunately, I have to deduct a star though, because the chicken itself was overcooked and a bit dry. If it was pulled out of the oil maybe a minute sooner, it probably would be a perfect chicken sando. Soo close. The slaw added enough moisture that compensated for it, but imo slaw should enhance and not be a crutch. My standard for perfection is Popeyes spicy sando, which by some wizardry is always cooked to crispy/juicy perfection. Hangry Joes, go to Popeyes and take notes, because your bun, slaw, and fries are superior. I'm only being critical because I really do like it and it could be better!"
"The chicken is extremely juicy and flavorful! Be careful when you choose your spiciness level. My companion chose Medium and found it quite spicy! He did say he would ask for the same level next time. My chicken was mild which has a little bit of spice. The waffle fries were amazing! I would return to Hangry Joe's so I could try their Bubble tea next time."

"We were in town visiting friends, and they recommended this place. They had various food options available, including waffle fries, chicken tenders, and a tasty-looking chicken sandwich, to name a few. I got the combo with tenders and fries, with the tenders with the hot option, which had a disclaimer as being non-refundable and was pleasantly surprised. As a lover of hot foods, the seasoning was perfect and was hot and tasty and not just hot for the sake of being hot, like you would see at other establishments. If we visited again, I would try the hottest possible based on the experience. This place is worth checking out."
