I called all of the Speedqueen dealers in the area, and when I spoke to James I knew that this was where I was going to buy my washing machine. They let me buy the floor model and even wrapped it in shrink wrap for me. This was probably the best appliance purchase experience that I have had. They were excellent to work with."

"I’ve been hesitant to post this, because I strongly prefer to do business locally, and hate to post negativity about anyone, but virtually every interaction has been poor. We had delivery delays despite putting our order in 10 months prior to move in which were never communicated. Then, it was a complete headache getting my refrigerator delivered and they didn’t seem to even understand why we had urgency about living in a house with no refrigerator. We’ve had quality issues with the Cafe refrigerator from day 1 which were also met with apathy. And today we had the latch break on our washing machine which like the rest of our appliances was purchased a year and 5 months ago. Obviously that’s not their fault, but when I called in about getting a replacement I was told that our warranty expired so it would be $129 to get someone to come out and that the part would be ordered afterwards. I have a family of 5 so in the interest of expediting the process I asked if I could just pay to order the part and just install myself. It’s literally 4 Phillips head screws. After spending 20 minutes on hold I was told that they couldn’t get it in and to just contact the manufacturer. We spent a premium on our appliances in our home and expected a better experience than ordering through a big box store, but have experienced the exact opposite."

"From the sales reps to the service reps, the Appliance Place feels like family! I’ve made multiple purchases from the Midlothian store and every single time it’s a pleasant experience. From sales people who know what they are talking about and help you make good decisions to the installers who know what they are doing and don’t cut corners, I always feel like I’m in good hands there. As a matter of fact, I don’t even shop around any more, I go straight to AP and know I will get a good product for a good price and have it installed correctly! I will not buy my appliances anywhere else! My family was long time customers at the Colonial Heights store and now I’m a lifetime customer at the Midlothian store. It feels good to support a local company! I appreciate that when I call the store a person answers who can answer questions and if I need service they are going to take care of it! That’s how you run a business and keep customers and they do it well! I’m especially fond of Mark at the Midlo store and Vickie in the Service Dept, but every employee I’ve worked with there has been great! Thanks Appliance Place, you’ve got a loyal lifetime customer in me!"

"Great buying experience. Sales rep knew exactly what he was talking about as I did my research before going into the store to buy a Speed Queen TR7 washing machine. I was even allowed to buy the floor model so I could take it home same day and they did a great job wrapping it in plastic for the trip home on my trailer. I'll definitely keep The Appliance Place in mind for any appliances I need in the future."
