KAT'S Breakfast & Lunch

"Kay’s Breakfast and Lunch is a really warm and cozy food shop, with delicious lunch and best of all, breakfast. I love how cozy the interior is. I order breakfast, since I love breakfast any time of the day. They have condiments and hot sauce lined up near the front counter, with a bottle soda in the back if that’s what you want. The chef was really responsive when he noticed me coming in to take order, despite it looking like he’s soloing everything by himself. The food though, was so good. Nice fluffy biscuit with crispy bacon, cover with some delicious gravy, with a nice side of lovely eggs! I just had to add some hot sauce to heat it up. After eating such a meal, I felt satisfy and full. Usually when you get a meal at McDonald’s or something, you would still feel hungry after, but not this. It’s also not to the extent of feeling bloated either, which is nice. My only complaint is the door, if you’re a first timer and saw the entrance. You would think this doesn’t lead to an area that sells food. Even with a sign that can easily be missed. I had to walk around for there to be another sign pointing back to the other door to make sure. Should really put another sign at that front entrance. Honestly if I lived nearby, I would 100% come here more often, but as I live 40 minute away, can’t really do it often. Easy 5 star, should drop by and give it a try."

"First time trying this place. Everyone in my party was very happy with what they got. The portions were plenty. The burger with the bologna was ridiculous, in a good way. The presentation was outstanding and the taste was on point. I had the turkey, Brie, and apple butter sandwich. Very balanced flavor and everything worked in support of each other. I would recommend!"

"I guess my expectations were too high when someone posted it was the best breakfast in Richmond. Kats was fine. The eggs, bacon, potatoes and croissant were standard quality and reasonably priced. The cashier rolled her eyes at the old woman in front of me in line because I guess she was taking too long to order; otherwise the cooks were nice and funny. I should have waited for the fresh pot of coffee. Everything was clean."

"Man. This is a hidden gem. So MUCH FLAVOR. The price was solid. The amount of food was great. The best sausage gravy biscuit I've had in a LONG time. Full of flavor."
