"This place is not tasty by accident—this is tested and perfected, for sure. Shrimp and grits are 4.5 of 5 for me, really good but I’m comparing to my all time fave shrimp and grits dish which isn’t fair. I think lots of people will really enjoy that dish. Lots of shrimp, flavor and saucy. Now, the chicken tenders: AMAZING The ranch and Korean spicy sauce are very good, they’re not playing. Love to see a local place doing it up. We will be back. PS it’s not cool to leave a poor review about quality of food when you got delivery. Unless it’s how the food was packaged, it’s not a reflection of the restaurant."
"The best breakfast I have had in a long time. Good thing I didn't pay attention to the reviews because although it was not the fastest which is understood on a Sunday Morning for Breakfast. Definitely a hidden Gem, Alot of food. Hot Fresh and well packaged."
"I got a yummy waffle topped w powdered sugar, perfectly buttered toast, over easy eggs and plain cbh and it was awesome!! The staff is wonderful and the food is so good! I don’t usually like ordering breakfast food out because I love cooking at home but their prices are great and so are the portions. Worth the try!"
"DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! No idea how the food is because I ordered two hours ago and they still haven't sent it. Waiting for the ability to complain on door dash, which gives these types of ghost kitchens way too much power to trick people into ordering low quality food that takes hours to get to you, if you cancel you lose your money."
"I have been to many famous breakfast restaurants with hours of waiting time, but the Breakfast Bowl from RVA Cafe beats all of them. It was very simple, but made fresh with perfect execution. The place is small with few tables, but very clean and cozy. Owner/chef Daquan made the Breakfast Bowl himself and all other people’s orders. He scrambled the egg and cheese in a small sauce pan, cooked the meat in a separate sauce pan on the other burner. Because I ordered it to go, he stored the biscuit, scrambled egg with cheese in a bowl, and kept the chopped ham and gravy in two other bowls. The presentation might not look as nice as if it was served at the restaurant, but every bite was flavorful. Truly enjoyed the simple breakfast. Cannot wait to try their other items from the menu."
