T.Caf salon de thé

"Went there for lunch with a friend, the food was awesome, the tea was nice as well. The issue I had was the tables in the second room where we ate in were too small (just big enough for a tea set) so you had to eat the food on plates in your lap. The staff was amazing, if a bit overloaded at times, it seems to be a two person team (my guess is owner & co-owner) and this led to my Salmon Canape coming out very late but it was tasty as well as the Goat Cheese & Feta Quiche I had. The room also could use some better insulation cause much to me and my friends chagrin a group of charged up office workers came in and started loudly talking & laughing at a level beyond inside voice (sadly something T.caf can't control) near the end of our meal. Overall this was fantastic and I will be back."

"Great experience, very friendly staff and the food was amazing. If they have any specials I highly recommend trying them, the tartine with tomato and pork terrine were particularly amazing. The tea is made well and dessert is just the right amount of sweet. I know this place is popular in the afternoon but give it a try in the evening, the atmosphere is great for gossiping with friends or a nice date. The staff was very friendly and took time to explain and answer any questions we had."

"There's almost nothing that I love more than to support a small business, add a cherry on top if it's something that is curiously different from my usual routine or experiences. T. Caf salon de thé did not disappoint in the slightest. The café decorations and aesthetic is pleasing and warm and the gentleman who was at the counter and handled taking our orders, bringing everything out (possibly the owner) was courteous and prompt. The quiche was the best I ever had, hence the lack of photo there of! The coffee, tea, and other food items were all pleasing and the price point was more than adequate. The only thing I think there was a missed opportunity on was perhaps some light music, however the quiet of the cafe was very peaceful. T.Caf will not disappoint and it is definitely worth a visit!"

"The ambiance is charming, calming and cozy with elegant tones. The food was delicious, the french quality of their pastries, food and tea are absolutely noticeable. The staff was kind, very professional and friendly. I recommend trying the Butterflies in the Tummy tea, it has a unique flavor and the presentation of it all was very good. I would absolutely make this one of my favorite places to go."

"Came for tea and small bites with a friend. A nice jazzy soundtrack played in the background to create a relaxing atmosphere. They have an eclectic selection of seating which we found fun and welcoming. Staff was friendly and they have a wonderful selection of teas as well as little snacks. Our open face sandwiches (which I believe they call sofas) were fresh and delightful. The cookies had a nice crispness perfect for accompanying tea. The real highlight was my matcha cream crepe. Crepes are hard to come by in Richmond so I was excited to see them on the menu. I will certainly be back. A nice place to hang with a friend or do a little reading/journaling."
