About the Business

Lynette & Jerri's Diner

Lynette & Jerri's Diner is a cozy food establishment located at 334 Amherst Street in Winchester, Virginia, United States. The diner offers a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, with daily specials available. The menu includes classic diner favorites such as omelets, sandwiches, soups, salads, steaks, seafood, and desserts.

The interior of the diner features booth seating along the walls, an L-shaped counter with stools, and a small room in the back for additional seating. The original outdoor signs from the previous establishment, Amherst Diner, have been retained with the word "AMHERST" blocked out. The atmosphere is welcoming and the walls are adorned with new decorations.

During my visit, I enjoyed a pork barbecue sandwich served with potato chips. While the sandwich could have been better, the service provided by my server, Alice, was excellent. The diner is conveniently located near Winchester Medical Center, Omps Funeral Home, and Selma Medical Associates, making it a convenient spot for a meal after a visit to these locations.

Overall, Lynette & Jerri's Diner is a promising dining spot with potential for improvement. I look forward to returning in the future to see how the diner continues to evolve. Carryout options are available for those looking to enjoy a meal on the go. For more information or to place an order, you can contact the diner at (540) 504-7995.

"Just went here for the first time and boy it didn’t disappoint! Has a very retro hole in the wall feel. Food came out in like 3 minutes. Pancakes were amazing, eggs were cooked beautifully, sausage gravy was great. I asked for onions in my home fries and they loaded them up it was amazing! I will start visiting regularly from now on!"

"I have wanted to try this Diner for years and WoW the coffee is great and the fish and chips are delicious. The people are so friendly! I've only had one other place that has had good fish and chips and it cost twice as much as here. The coffee is better than the big coffee chains around here, I always leave the first taste to my friend who drinks it all the time and if she says okay then I get one too. It reminds me of the Diner's of my youth warm friendly people and great food and coffee We are definitely going to be back as soon as we can."

"Portions REALLY small. Mashed potatoes seemed instant and the gravy was a little on the gelatin side. Maybe came pre-made from a food service company. The "hamburger steak" (pictured)was 2 bites size."

"This was one of the best local restaurants I've eaten at in a long time! I loved the small-town atmosphere of this place. The locals made me and my son feel very welcome, and we had great conversations with a local veteran. I had the hamburger and onion rings, and my son had the chicken tenders and fries. They were hot and sooo delicious! It does have limited seating, but wait time is pretty fast. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely come back."

"Very cute and authentic diner. Friendly people. This was my first time visiting a diner on my US trip and loved it! Stopped by and tried the homemade apple crumble pie which was delicious and enjoyed a few cups of coffee."
