"Enjoyed a happy hour with my family. The staff was amazing from the time we walked in. Michelle the hostess was friendly and quick to seat us. Happy hour is only for the bar but Sandra our waitress was able to accommodate us at our table due to having a minor in our party. We tired the oyster shot and the cucumber shot. They were amazing and the bar tender even took a second to come over and explain the ingredients. Their Moscow mule and mango margarita’s were delicious as well. From the happy hour menu we tried the shrimp tostadas, calamari, chicken bites and crab bits. Everything was tasty. We preferred the buffalo sauce on the chicken over the garlic sauce. Overall, great experience and decent prices. Happy to have found this gem in our neighborhood. We will definitely be back!"

"Let’s call it what it is. We like good food. A lot. That’s if you live in the outskirts of D.C.. We have mountains to the west and the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean to the east. That also means we know good seafood, plus more, and expect nothing less. If this rings true for you, then try Ocean Paradise. I promise a taste that will far exceed your expectations. The oysters were super fresh, and the main ‘Ocean Paradise Seafood Platter’ was amazing. Perfectly seasoned. Not over salted. And with that warm, home, family-cooked taste. Stay local (or, if visiting, welcome!), enjoy your feast at Ocean Paradise, avoid that traffic on I-66, and cherish the best of the best right here in Northern Virginia."

"I’m taking away a star because of the rude waitress when we walked in the door. We had reservations (not needed). The restaurant was completely empty and the hostess went to sit up at a table (we had a baby in a car seat) and some female waitress from behind the bar starts saying “not right there it’s reserved.” She keep saying it and her tone was not kind. The hostess was apologizing. My family and I looked confused and just wanted to be told where we could sit in this EMPTY restaurant. A gentleman had walked from behind the bar and apologized again. I think he noticed our expressions from the uninviting waitress. I stated I would just like to know where we can sit so we can sit down. Her rudeness really changed the entire energy. Our waitress Michelle was sweet. Now the food…amazing!! We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was really good. Not heavily breaded. I ordered a seafood platter and everything was cooked to perfection. My partner and my mom also enjoyed there dishes as well. Ordered a margarita that was good as well. Didn’t care for my partner’s sangria though. Portions are a decent size you won’t have enough to take any home. Food was great and it’s hard to find places with delicious food. They have it. But not sure if we will return since it may be unclear if seating will be an issue."

"Love this place! I’ve gone for brunch and happy hour. Service, food, and drinks are always on point. Would def recommend if you love seafood, even if you don’t like seafood they have other good options"

"Came here for a friend's birthday party for a fancy type of dinner. The place is really nicely decorated and lands between fine dining and local seafood joint. The prices however definitely speak to fine dining. The menu is pretty extensive and our party ordered a broad selection. Everything was phenomenal, I really enjoyed the chowder and spicy mussels I had and pretty much every plate went back cleaned of every last morsel. Service was pretty good and they even brought my friend's dessert out with a little candle and happy birthday presentation and yes, they even sang to him."
