"I chose to call Jim with my computer problem because of all the good reviews that he got and now I'm back to leave my own review of his wonderful service. I had an old laptop which still had lots and lots of files and things on it which were important to me, like two writing courses which I never completed and papers I had written for my bachelor degree program. I had put off transferring everything to my new laptop, just assuming that when I needed something I would be able to get it. But when I actually tried to do that one day, I found that the old laptop wouldn't even turn on, even when plugged in. I realized I would need a professional to get everything off my old laptop onto my new one, once and for all. As I said, my search led me to Jim because of all the great reviews he got. He answered my call right away and when I explained my problem, he gave me an idea of what could be done, how we could go about doing it, and what it would cost. He really put me at ease and made me feel confident he could fix the problem. While I'm quite sure that my request was a pretty simple one, as far as Jim was concerned, for me it was a big deal, and he got that about me. He even offered me pick up and delivery because he lives so close to where I do! From the time I turned the laptop over to him along with the portable hard drive I purchased to put the files on, it took less than a day to get the old laptop to function and transfer the files onto the external hard drive. The job was done in a timely, cost effective manner, but Jim's understanding, compassion, and professionalism was priceless to me. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful gentleman and how highly I recommend him to anyone who is in need of help with their computer problems! Thank you, Jim!"

"I have been going to Jim for a number of years whenever I have a problem with my desktop. He has always been patient with me as I am somewhat technically challenged. I recently bought a laptop and Jim offered advice as to what I should purchase for my needs, then he set it up for me. After getting it home, I had several issues that I could not figure out. When it would not start up, I contacted The Help Desk. They were there within the hour, diagnosed the problem (hard drive crash) and took the tower back for repair.
