"I came here a couple of years ago and really loved it. Came back today and ordered an omelette. It was completely drenched in oil and liquids. I could only eat half. I took a picture but there's no option to post. The only redeeming food was in the bakery. The staff was friendly on that side and the baked goods look delicious. Hope they taste awesome when we eat them later."

"I've come here a few times, I am from out of town but my work is in Alexandria. I stay at the Alexandrian hotel and this is my #1 go-to for breakfast whenever I'm in town. The food is delicious, and the coffee is excellent. I love the little tables and decor too. Really feels like a cozy space!"

While I wouldn't recommend them if you are visiting King Street, if you live nearby, it offers a relatively high quality-to-cost ratio compared to other restaurants in the area. The indoor dining space is large, and outdoor seating is available. The way they provide separate spots to order pastries, coffee, and food is a bit confusing, but it works, I guess."

"Stopped in a mid morning coffee and croissant. The staff greeted me and offered assistance once I approached the case. A good selection of French pastries/desserts available. Cafe Latte and Almond Croissant we're delicious. Staff was friendly. My only feedback would be labeling - I didn't know where to order what and where to put my dishes when I was done, but staff were more than helpful in assistant me even though I went to the wrong register and didn't know what to do with my tray. Otherwise this authentic gem was exactly what I was hoping for. Adequate seating available, small outdoor patio as well. I didn't order food but they have a menu available. Decor was very relaxed/provincial french, very attractively done. I felt like you would stumble into a place like this in France - not boutiquish and done up with frills, but you know they don't need it because they're attracting customers based on what they're serving up. I've never been to France so I can't say for sure, but I expect they're doing a wonderful job! I stayed nearby and walked, but location was easy to find. There are a lot of negative reviews as of recent but I sincerely enjoyed myself and would absolutely go back. The pastry was fresh and delicious, warm and flaky with tons of almond. The cafe latte was hot, accurate amount of foam and good tasting espresso. Highly recommend trying!"
