Koons Woodbridge Hyundai

"UPDATE: we dropped the car off at Hyundai to repair the water present inside the vehicle. They had the car for a week, they failed to repair the IOU bumper paint, we got it back today and there is still water in the car, all in the trunk, and moisture build up in the back. It seems they did absolutely no work on the car. We will be taking the car back tomorrow and demanding a full refund. This has been the worst service experience from a dealership. We have lost all trust that they will be able to deliver a safe, reliable car for our daughter to drive. We should have known better when we drove the car home and it had a tire light that no one spent any effort in making sure it was ready for a customer. MORE PHOTOS ADDED**** I hate to leave a bad review but we’ve had nothing but issues since buying a car from this dealership 2 weeks ago and the service departments lack of communication. Less than a week after purchasing a CPO’d Hyundai Elantra for $18,000, we noticed it had water damage and moisture build up in the trunk, water in headlights and mold present (see pictures). We brought the car in after our teen driver noticed a bad smell in the trunk and foggy rear window. After some back and forth, we finally got Used Car to cover the repairs. Initially they said this issue would be customer pay to which we were shocked given the car hadn’t been in our possession for more than a few days. A week has gone by and we have not heard from anyone regarding the status of our car. We have called numerous times a day, left messages, sent an email to Daizah Harrington mentioned on here with no response, and messaged service directly. I’m at a loss of what to do. We are considering legal action and voiding the car sale entirely. We did not intend to purchase a car for so much for our student driver, pay hefty car insurance for a teen, and a car that is now sitting at the dealership again with no end in sight. If you are considering purchasing a car here or getting service, I would genuinely look at other dealerships that have more reputable customer service experiences. It’s unsettling that a dealership would sell us a car with such extensive water damage, after having it at their shop for over a month prior to us purchasing it. This car was not sold as is."

"In my 22 years of purchasing vehicles, I've honestly never come across a better dealership, salesman, and overall experience. Aaron Webb was my sales person. This gentlemen is a model salesman for all and an absolute a true professional in the car industry and beyond. Can't say enough amazing things about him. I want to note that I've owned and currently own luxury vehicles like BMW. The cleanliness, access to amenities, and customer accommodations inside of Koon's Hyundai is right up there with my BMW dealership in Princeton, NJ. I was incredibly impressed. Some more details about this transaction - I originally brokered the deal through LeaseCompanion, who in turn had put me in contact with Koon's Hyundai. I got an awesome deal on our 2023 Ioniq 5 SEL AWD. I won't detail the finances, but I opted for the one-pay lease, terms are 24 month/12K mile per year. I had to travel from NJ to Woodbridge, VA. Aaron was kind enough to personally pick me up from the Amtrak station and bring me back to dealership. From there, I was in and out in under an hour. Aaron also walked me through the vehicle before I got on the road for the long trip home, ensuring I was comfortable as this was my first experience with an EV. Again, I can't say enough great things about Aaron and my overall experience with Koon's Hyundai. I would highly recommend this dealership. Thank you again, Aaron!!
