"I will summarize my experience: I've had 1. My property manager come in without my permission or notice 2. They have moved furniture and gave me a hard time to move it back 3. I've had items stolen 4. I've had plenty of maintenance issues 5. I can't get the smell of cigarette smoke out of my clothes even though I don't smoke 6. I've had "late payments" even though I've paid days ahead. Even my last month (it was pro-rated) I was told several different amounts I owed with no clear answer. 7. My property manager gave my address to the Jehovah witnesses and allowed them inside my building. Then he personally removed my no soliticiting sign 8. My landlord swore up and down I was allowed to have a pet rabbit. A year and a half later it was "against my lease" despite me getting approval. I had 24 hours to move him even though I was a student with clinical hours and two jobs. He also suggested I "call my mom" which to me is only a comment you'd make you a 21 year old. That's a poor assumption that I even have a mom. There also was a dog in my building which was clearly against the lease. Seems that the landlords picks favorites. 9. There's never parking in my building 10. I have passive agressive voicemails from my property manager. When I tried to call someone different then him to file a complaint. 11. Rent has gone up multiple times with no building improvements. 12. They took over thirty days to mail me back my deposit and I had to call to get it mailed to me. They also charged me for blinds, which I was previously told is a not a charge and “cleaning” but with no rationale of what they cleaned. My mother and I cleaned and scrubbed for hours so there’s no way there was an issue."
