"I was in the Princeton store this week and picked up 2 lightbulbs. The checkout person (dk his name, but very nice middle aged man) pointed out that they were 25 watt. I had wanted 40 watt, so he asked if he could go get me the right size! So nice of him!"

"What a shame. I went in today to have my grandmother's knives sharpened, the store's policy was always to sharpen knives purchased at that location for free. Well today when I walked in, I was told they now use a machine to sharpen knives, ok red flag #1, I was then told they "have never sharpened knives purchased here for free." I guess I've been hallucinating the last decade or so. I don't appreciate being lied to. I proceeded to pay the $7 for the knife the employee already ran through the machine and left without sharpening the rest. Really sad to see this place go downhill, we used to spend a lot of money here. Now I'm afraid we will be shopping elsewhere. Lastly, upon arriving home, the blade that was "sharpened" by the machine was nowhere near razor sharp. Really disappointing! Don't sharpen your knives here!"

"Shop was well stocked. A guy in particular, stood out. He was of a certain age, and really took time to explain to me the difference in between all the types of glue."

"The staff here are super friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are fair. However, the most important and magical feature of this store is the super friendly and cute sleepy cat that lives here. Approach him slowly and you will meet a super affectionate sweetie pie. He is pretty old so come soon!"

"Excellent stop at Ace Hardware in Princeton to get a couple of keys made but I'd thought I'd check out the store while I was there and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted at the door by a very welcoming employee for starters and then immediately escorted back to where the keys are cut. In minutes I had my 4 new keys but then took a few moments to wander around and find this store is a bit different than a typical hardware store. They sell upscale cutlery, quality pots and pans, Meile vacuums, bike helmets, garden necessities to mame a few things. Their paint department is excellent as they sell several quality brands of paint one being Benjamin Moore. The staff was extremely knowledge and very friendly. All in all a great place for your paint and hardware needs! Please see my attached photos!"
