"Just played two rounds one at Crystal springs and the other at black bear. Very disappointed that they decided to aerated the greens right before the holiday weekend and leave them in terrible condition. Was enough sand on the greens to build a sand castle. Also the golf etiquette was so bad of the players we played with and all over the course. Black bear was much nicer but still had ver slow play problems with one group joining up with 9 people."
"Course was not that easy. It's not really for beginners. The pace of play can be very slow due to people with high handicaps playing. The course was in great shape and our round took 4.5 hours. I would definitely return to play even though it's an hour drive from my home."
"Pros: -Nice layout, there wasn’t a flat spot on the entire course! -Every hole was a new challenge -Greens are hard to read but true to their line -Water and bunkers are placed strategically to make you struggle -Tees range for all length of hitters -Fantastic views -Staff is nice Cons: -Most tee boxes were slanted -Not walkable, holes seem miles away from each other"
