"bed was comfy and our shower room was fantastic- my only issue was I didn't know which bldg we were supposed to be in & lucky guess for us - we guessed correctly which was the first bldg you came to- it was dark getting into the bldg as outside senor light wasn't properly functioning- we also had some noisy tenants above us who came in after midnight - they couldn't see until they turned the hall light on to go upstairs & were totally loud including deciding to turn the TV on- high volume! LOL- but that had nothing to do with the accommodations except the light to the hallway needed to be on so we wouldn't hear her scream I cant see!"

"Just stayed here - nice people - nice room. Clean and simple- nothing fancy. The owners are new and very accommodating. I believe they will set it up for weddings as the beautiful grounds are perfect for it. Although individual couples are no problem either. The “Lazy Pond” and grounds are perfect for a nice walk. Close to the Woodstock Museum in Bethel (15 minutes ) and the Resorts International Gambling (20 minutes). They are not set up yet for breakfast yet however do to Covid restrictions, but will be ready shortly. I would recommend this place. ."

"This place is fabulous!. We were originally placed in the main house on the third floor which was beautiful, but unfortunately I am unable to manage stairs so luckily she had space across the road at a little row of motel room like building. The rooms were nice-- not as nice as the main house, but comfortable. The main house area is totally what you picture for a bed and breakfast-- beautiful and quaint. The owner is so sweet and accommodating. She checked in on us every day to empty trash and see if we needed anything. Any time we asked for something she had it available-- extra blanket, a cooler to keep some cold drinks in. I would definitely stay there again."

"We just held a wedding reception at Lazy Pond. It was wonderful. The hostess and her family could not be kinder nor more accommodating. The food was delicious and the grounds are beautiful. It was a very friendly and comfortable environment and our guests appeared to enjoy the day as well. I wouldn't hesitate to return for another occasion."

"This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and it was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful. Jean and her son Matt were lovely. Everything is clean and peaceful and the breakfast was wonderful. It was a nice little getaway from the city. We went to see Van Halen at Bethel Woods which is nearby and they have a bonfire for their guests after the show. We can't wait to come back!"
