"Great setup for breakfast and business work area. Inside heated pool and nice gym facility. Not much drawer storage in rooms. Get a room with a view of rivet on the higher floors, it's worth it. Very friendly reception staff."
"This is a seemingly new courtyard facility-- at least updated-dash on a precipice overlooking the river, which is absolutely beautiful. They have all the normal Marriott amenities of which we've come to expect: Cool check-in staff, snack bar, cocktail bar that was pretty crowded, pool, and the room is actually quite lovely with a great view of the river as well. The furniture seems updated in its configuration against the normal Marriott that I usually see and it's actually quite comfortable. Lots of outlets everywhere for electronics, and a lovely spacious couch that looks like it could easily double as a bed for a child. The desk working area is kind of modern but also very cool with the TV just above. Overall quite nice. My only detraction is the kids from the swim team currently running around the hotel, with loud voices outside the rooms which distracting me from my work. May have to update on that. It's not like Marriott to allow that to go on too long so we'll see what happens."
"First impression when I walked in the door was it was a nice hotel. The staff was wonderful especially the evening/night shift desk clerk and the woman cook in the kitchen! It was clean and our room had a great view!"
"The staff is some of the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating people around! I stay there a lot for business & the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy & it’s so close to many stores & restaurants. There’s a great outdoor seating area & fire pit which is really nice. Gym could use some work but it gets the job done. I highly recommend this place- they treat you like a king!"
"Surprisingly great hotel. Convenient location if you are visiting our passing through. Right off the freeway, but has a great view over the river. The staff is amazing and the food is very good. The rooms are decent, showers are a little odd due to not having a door, but not a big deal. The gym is just ok, you can get a workout in, but it is nothing special. Overall, great choice for Morgantown. Highly recommend."
