Gleneagles Apartments

"I had a very bad experience with the apartments of St Charles when looking for my first apartment here. My leasing agent was not knowledgeable at all I was giving no information regarding the amenities here and how they work I've asked about my ice maker several times here and still it has not been fixed the ladies at the rental office are very rude most of the time there are so many other things wrong with this apartment complex but I really don't have the time or desire keep writing about it"

"The apartment is spacious which we love, but we're not so happy with the rising rent every year and the cleanliness of the grounds around our apartment. Such as the stairwells, and the sidewalk, and parking area's at time can be a bit trashed with discarded soda can and or bottles. And also food bags or wrappings."

"I recently posted a review giving this complex 3 stars however things have since changed. I received a letter about renewing my lease; My rent will be going up about an extra $200 and now instead of paying $10/mo for trash. The bill will be split between the residents in the building. theres no telling how much it’ll be now. I’ve been paying for trash since January and they stay full and are never emptied. NOW you want me to pay more ?! I moved into an apartment to avoid the extras that come with living in a detached home but now I see no difference. My rent cost more than what my mortgage would AND Im paying for all utilities plus trash. No one has came by to do any yard work, so the grounds are a little messy And I STILL haven’t heard from the rental office about the people stomping all day over top of my head. I’ve written a letter and left voicemails . I work from home so I have to constantly apologize for the noise above me. And my mother who is a retired police officer hasn’t been able to sleep since we moved here. Years of waking up @ 4am and she still can’t get rest because of the people & dog upstairs. I mentioned the dog because the smell comes through our vents sometimes and the entire house will smell like dirty dog. I’ve rented from St. Charles Apts before ( Coachmans , Crossland ) and this is by far the worst. Especially since they’ve changed companies. Oh and they also want a $300 deposit plus $25/mo for each pet! Outrageous. I wanted pets but I’m not sure about dropping $600 for Two, plus now paying $2000+ for rent, not including the gas, electric , water , trash , and whatever else. I can literally go out and buy a used card for the amount of money I spend per month here. I really wanted to like this place but I think I may move out. I’m not sure about the new company that took over but they need to make some changes. We all pay A LOT of money here and there are no extras. Like I mentioned previously, we have no gym , no Amazon hubs, and clearly no one works in the office either. I think I made a mistake moving here and unfortunately I’m stuck here for another year."
