The Preserve at Catons Crossing

"Lived at Catons Crossing for just over a year (had to move due to work, and not from the VA area) but really enjoyed my year living here. Within the year the property went through several upgrades (painted, added dog park, upgraded fitness equipment, etc) which shows their pro-activeness and commitment to up-keeping the grounds pleasurable for its residents. No, the property isn't perfect, there have been small issues, but so does every apartment. But the benefits greatly outweigh any inconveniences. Just in the new year there was a management change and most of those small things have improved. Some quick highlights on this apartment complex: - Nice staff and neighbors - Quick to fix any maintenance requests - Clean (pool, club house, fitness center, etc) - Safe (key fab locked entrance, general area is safe) Things to note: - If you travel into DC often expect traffic at the Woodbridge exit (as someone from the midwest the traffic is awful) - Not a super walkable area but really short drive to just about any store or restaurant and close to highway for travels I would highly recommend looking into this property & touring!"

"On a random Monday, I came in without an appointment hoping to get a tour. Maxwell and Jay welcomed my girlfriend and me with such energy and professionalism. Maxwell took us on a tour and was great. I had some other places to look at after my tour but could not stop thinking about my experience at The Preserve. I called the next day asking for a quote but another person had already applied for the unit I wanted. I was disappointed but Maxwell and Jay reassure me that they would call me as soon as something else opens up or if the person who applied did not follow through with the application process. I got a call later that day from Jay who good me the apartment was available and emailed me a quote immediately. From the tour, the application, figuring out the deposit, and the move-in date, to signing my lease, Maxwell and Jay made the process easy and stress-free. 10/10 would recommend this place."

"My wife and I had a great experience with The Preserve. We do travelling nursing contracts, so we needed a short-term 3 month rental. This place was by far the most reasonable price. It turned out to be a great place to live. Close to everything (shopping, groceries, hiking spots), great staff, and friendly neighbors."

"My daughter just moved in and I love this apartment. It has ample space which is a pleasant surprise. The one bedroom is large enough in every aspect (bathroom, kitchen, living room and walk-in closet). I love the fact there are 3 locks and system that chimes. That's very important!!!! The surrounding area is also nice and Kaiser Permentae is being completed right next door, which you can just walk to."

We are coming from a nightmare of an apartment so naturally I was overly cautious while apartment hunting all the way through move in.
