"I really love the leasing and maintenance team. I lived here for 4 years and I loved it. The apartments are luxury and beautiful. The area is quiet and close to shopping. I’m going to miss living here. I just recently married in October 2023 and my family has grown and need a bigger space. If not for that I would still be here. Ms. Sandra is a very nice and professional assistant property manager whenever I needed something she always made sure I was good."
"I will be completely and brutally honest in this review….. I have lived here with my mom for almost 5 years now and I can say that I have completely loved it. When we first toured the apartment I was amazed at how spacious the rooms were. The loft on the 4th floor and very well maintained for the size of the apartment. They provide a wide variety of amenities like the dishwasher, fridge, microwave and washer and dryer. They also offer trash services which i personally find convenient. There is nothing to complain about on what they offer within the apartments. There is also access to a gym, pool as well as a clubhouse and multiple different living and working spaces that are accessible and available for all residents. There are many occasions were the clubhouse or gym would be closed for long periods of time due to construction or other reasons but I’ve never had a problem with it due to the fact that I am not there as often as most. Neighbors are quiet but friendly when you do see them. The staff are amazing and they have treated me with such kindness over the years. When you walk into the office, they talk to you like family. I’ve had conversations with them on everyday things and they are very friendly. They take to time to talk to me and ask me about any of my concerns regarding anything that I come for. Now the ugly truth of living here is that the lack of communication is - in the kindest words - disgusting. And it’s not due to anything on the staffs part but rather due to the lack of them therefore. I’ve read many previous reviews by people would current live here and those who have left and can say to an extent that I agree with most of what was said. When you try to call the office, there is no answer and when you are sent to a corporate representative, they have nothing to help with due to the fact that they themselves are not in the local office. Requests can go hours if not days unanswered. For me, I can understand this is due to the lack of people in the office. I mean let’s me honest, there are over 100 (more or less; I don’t even know)units within the complex but only 3 staff members in the office? And then only 2 maintenance workers to fix problems within the buildings… come on now. I can see why my requests might go unanswered. There are to many request for the amount of people that work there. It’s almost unkind how overwhelmed them are. The comments I’ve seen about people having to go to the office to have something resolved and finding that they are all busy are almost annoying. Think about the fact that you are not the only one living there but they are the only ones working there. I can place most of my problems on the fact that the staff is not large enough for the community to handle. If they had more people to work, I honestly believe that more people would enjoy living here but the simple fact is that they don’t and I would like to see some of the people complaining doing the work that they do. I guarantee that some would not be able to handle the stress and go crazy. Much love to people who have left their complains but you butcher the work ethic of people when you don’t even see the full picture. They need more people in the office to work and that’s not a staff issue, it’s a management/corporate issue that needs to be solved. Point blank simple. All in all, I’ll leave that at that. If you asked my mom to give this review she probably would not be as kind as I have been and that’s because I’m an empathic and understanding person. There have been times that I was frustrated and disappointed but the staff did and do their best to make it better and overall I appreciate that. We recently renewed our lease with a new apartment and the process was long and difficult but I could not be anymore happier with where we are now. I’m grateful for the staff and their hard work and will continue to be so until the day we choose to move out. If you’ve read to this point thank you and sorry to anyone I may have offended with my comments but like I said brutal in a kind manner:)"
"Lived here for a year. Staff was so unprofessional, Aminatu C. and Saily N. One particular time they accused me of doing something when I wasn’t even home, because a “neighbor of mine”called and told them something. They couldn’t give me too much details, Saily just told me she was coming to my apt to check. She was kindly told she would not be coming to my apt and to please send me corporates number. Luckily my sister was with me so I had a witness who heard how unprofessional the whole conversation was and the way she was accusing instead of asking. I contacted corporate immediately, they asked for my story and said they would be in contact I never heard anything back. I also was never bothered again either. The leasing office literally never answered the phone, but someone would be sitting right in the office. The hallways would smell really bad. If you didn’t live by the garage door you would be walking forever to get to your apt. I could not wait to move out, for the price I was paying and the amount of rules they had and were adding I felt like I was living on a college campus in a dorm. I would recommend many many other apts."
"Literally the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I have lived here for about 2 yrs and the leasing office are the biggest scam artists I have ever seen. They never pick up the phone, never email you back but when you physically walk down to the leasing office- they are always working. It's actually laughable. The leasing office should all be fired. They take random days off, are eviction happy and notice happy. They never do their job and are quick to charge people fines for random stuff. Not to mention, the apartment complex got broken into and a bunch of vehicles were vandalized recently. What did the management team do? That's right. NOTHING. they sent an email saying that community will protect against future breakins. Apparently me holding hands with my neighbor will protect us from robberies. Laughable. During my first year at the Verde- a bunch of scam artists pretending to be maintenance broke into the complex and tried to break into apartments. Nothing was done. See the pattern?? They are greedy, money hungry and do not know what professionalism is. This apartment is expensive and the customer service is laughable. Don't move here"
"Do not live here, just don't. There are so many places near by with better management/leasing offices that actually care. Alloy, camden, I mean the list goes on. First day I moved in there were legit doorstops in my garbage disposal. Yes, doorstops. The guy who came to fix the disposal said the cleaning crew "forgot them there". Then they fine you if your fire alarm does not work, when in reality they just did not check to see if it works before you moved in. The leasing people are nice, just not organized. You see all the responses to bad reviews saying "call this number if you want to chat".....call one of them and tell me if someone picks up the phone. I called each one over the span of 2 hours, did anyone answer the phone.......no. What they do is ship your phone call to corporate and someone tells you the local team will call back. Which they never do. I am telling you, just go to the alloy or some other place near by. This place is not worth it. You know what, sign the lease and move here, then you can comment on this review and see what I am talking about. You still do not believe me? Do these two things, 1. Call the leasing office and 90 percent chance you will be sent to corporate 2. Tell the corporate person to have the greenbelt location call you back......tell me if anyone responds. Have fun apartment searching...........just search everywhere but here."
