Evolution at Towne Center Laurel

"I’ve lived at Evolution at Towne center for a little over a year now and the experience has been on a constant downward slope. Although on the more expensive side, I am one who believes you get what you pay for. However, that is not the case. What I thought was a luxury apartment building has quickly turned into a smelly, foul smelling, mice crawling, and roach dwelling. I know critters are everywhere and I was initially happy to find we had no issues with this in the first six months. Things have since changed, to the point where I no longer exit the building a certain way because I’m bound to see mice. Evolution staff is aware of the mice that enter through this area (if you go to the main entrance, and walk to the right pass the game room and TV room, right through that door) you are in mouse central. The cleaning crew constantly cleans up the wall that is chewed through but there is nothing permanent being done about the mice in that area. People have to take a detour because there is almost always a mouse in that area. It’s ridiculous and it is far from luxury. If I hadn’t renewed my lease, I would not be here."

"Ok so this place is FAR too expensive for what I experienced. I went to tour and their garage door was open on one side. I didn’t really think much or care bc Laurel (in my mind) is a decent area. The leasing lady said it would be fixed soon (this is ab a month ago). I said ok and looked at other options. I actually came back to this property bc I really liked it and I saw the door was still open. Now as much as the rent is, I expect these things to work and if it breaks be fixed promptly. I lingered in the waiting area snd asked someone ab the door and if it brings any other issues and they said well ppl break in cars when its open. Or leave u on bricks!! And management has done nothing at all in the meantime. Do not move here!! Its not safe!!!"

"Just run!! Don't even waste your time getting stuck here. My car window was busted twice this year and there's still no cameras. An employee has stolen from my storage unit twice this year and no one seems to care. If you have any issues they only know how to say "I'm sorry that happened to you" no solutions or compensation. Go anywhere but here!! I stayed somewhere not as nice as here and never had this many issues. I guess the more you pay the more they just take and don't care about what has happened to you."

"I enjoy living here. For the most part, and being it is an apartment community, it’s is quiet. The staff seems to be kind and definitely tries to be helpful, maintenance is amazing and seem to get to any issues I’ve had extremely quickly. The building itself is clean and kept up well. Occasionally something breaks like gym, equipment, garage door, etc., as with any multi family dwelling, but they do seem to address it as soon as possible. The apartments are beautiful and mine has a great view, very pleased with that. It can be a bit loud being iamb on a busy street, but it’s worth it because the view is great if you are a light sleeper though, you may want to opt for an apartment on the inside of the building. The package room, although they tried to revamp it, so need some work, but unfortunately, that has more to do with the delivery companies than the actual building, although I believe package lockers would have been a better solution. All in all, I really do enjoy living here, and the location is fantastic."

"As a business owner, living at the Evolution is excellent for growth of my organization. The spaces available for use with reservation or quick meet-ups are perfect settings to impress clients. I just signed my lease for a 3rd year and I have never had an unprofessional experience with any staff member. The maintenance is the most responsive team that I have worked with ever in my years of renting. Evolution at Towne Centre Laurel is more than just a wonderful place to lay your head, it is a community! So much so that they hosts events for leisure and informative sessions on how to make the community safer when common issues occur. The staff cares for the community as if it was their own home doing their do diligence to inform and provide feedback when concerns arise. 5 star experience over the last years I have called this complex home!"
