Deerfield Run & Village Square North Apartments

"If you are a fond of PRISON LIFE you will love this place. Renters Beware!!!!!! You will have your car towed OFTEN! and So will any guests you have. My Friends car was towed the very first night living here and yes his car is on the lease. But that wasn't the end of it they towed it 3 more times all because the leasing office didn't give him a parking permit. Did they reimburse him for any of the tows since they weren't his fault. NO. He had no idea he needed one. On top of that good luck having any guest. Prisoners have more visitation rights than you do here. There are 5 visitor spots and the same cars have been parked in then since he moved in. I was visiting for just one night and parked one spot over from the visitor spots (because they are always full) The spot I was in had a "V" painted on it, I will give them that it was faint and washed away but we thought we were okay because it was one spot over from the 5 visitor spots. NOPE! I went to leave at 6am and the car was gone. Its not like there were a lack of spots for tenants. There were plenty of open spots (unless they were all towed too.) Reasoning with this place is also not an option. They were VERY rude on the phone and honestly just don't care about anything but ringing out as much money from their tenants and guests as they possibly can. I'm only giving one star because no starts isn't an option."

"It's a ok if you're desperate for a place to live. A big perk is the space and the included utilities, otherwise, my experience has been nothing short of living in a prison, no visitors but you can have unwanted guest. Lets do some math, my living strip has AT LEAST 50 apartments, 5 visitor spot, if just 5 households decide they want to have company at the same time, guest come in multiple cars, there's no spots, and it seems this happens VERY often anyways, EVERYDAY, considering the visitor spots are ALWAYS full. I've already had my car (I'm on the lease) AND my overnight guest's car towed. So forget about having family spend the weekend for the holidays, they'll have to pack up and leave before 11pm, or steak out a visitor spot until they can stay comfortably for a couple days. One visitor pass should be granted per tenant, or allowing us to check in visitors for a max 3 day stay if safety really is the issue. I've read responsive management comments "We do understand that parking is in high demand here, and we're always looking for ways to improve," Well, there you have it, a working solution, proven to work in more populated areas than here. And let us address the unwanted guest I do have...I've seen some previous reviews about them and hoped that the situation would have been mitigated and asked about this to specifically to management BEFORE moving in and was told all holes were plugged and a monthly exterminator will come by as well...WELL it goes without saying, it didn't work and now I'm here coming out of pocket for my own exterminator cause whatever they have is NOT helping the issue. The above mentioned are enough, for me at least, to want to break the lease, I don't appreciate not being able to have family and friends stay overnight and I am sure not used to having those disease carrying bugs crawling through my living space freely. The staff are fine, Kevin was great working with me to get in the apartment, but the overall experience isn't enough for me to rate more than 2 stars...Maybe even if the parking situation was better I'd be able to stay for a bit with the unwanted guest and call this place home with 3 stars..."

"They scheduled me to show up and look at apartments. After I show up. They told me they don't have time for me and told me to. Have a nice day. If this is how they're going to treat future guests, I want to make sure people know before they schedule that there's a good chance they're going to waste your time. Chelsea was very rude, unprofessional and within one minute of being in the office told me she doesn't have time for me after they scheduled me an appointment."

"Great place to raise your family. Families look out for each other a community built for the working people. Parking is for residents not guests. Weekends parking is available during the day at night those that pay their rent park and guest must figure it out sorry we come first. Management is great! Chelsea and Korean are great people the care about the property and work hard it’s a lot of work but they get it done. Iris should be property manager by now she’s excellent and works non stop works 6 days a week for years, humble, sweet, God fearing, loves the people and we trust her. Latonya forgive me if I misspelled your name but very new to the community and very proficient that’s a compliment because I’m a pill. Property is clean, well cared for by ground keepers 7am everyday the are out picking up trash and cleaning women taking care of the office. It’s a pandemic so the office is closed for appointments only they need to be safe let them live too folks. Love paying my rent online on time! Pay your rent on time all is well!! Maintenance guys are my favorite KoKo miss him for life my love so sweet get everything fix fast, Juan took over beast of the technicians quick, quality work, no bugs, mice, or pest Chelsea has pest control on speed dial every Wednesday. If you come here it’s a good home, but we hope your a good fit for us. Also give management a break there a community against 5 people. No dogs allowed no complaints. Love my neighbors!"

"I am happy and satisfied living here. I moved to this community in 2016, and don't plan on leaving soon because of the friendly service I receive, the safety, and affordability of the apartments. There is, however, only one thing that is disturbing, though it has improved - parking. Sometimes it is very difficult to get a parking space when you return home late. This is something I've had numerous conversations with management about, and think they could do better managing the parking in this beautiful complex."
