The Townes at Herndon

"They are deleting my review but this place is mice infested. When I told the leasing office they took days to call an exterminator. I called my own as well and they all said that the complex knew about the mice and doesn’t fix it. Disgusting. I have multiple videos on my ring camera showing the mice at night in the house."

"A lot of ups and downs with living at Townes. Between many changes in staff and maintenance and leasing companies during my 1.5 years of living at Townes, stability was the least of my worries. Newly renovated units have fresh paint covering water leaks and moldy areas. Frequent appliance issues and electrical issues throughout the property. My particular unit also had issues with water main breaks near the garage area, causing frequent issues with the water damaging the paint on my vehicles. My small child was constantly sick as well from the lack of attention paid to mold and asbestos under base boards and in the walls. Had issues with old floor boarding separating from the nails. Upon relocating, was charged excessive amounts for natural wear to the carpet, caused in large part to the frequent visits by maintenance staff and their equipment. Grounds also were poorly kept and had major issues with control of residents picking up after their pets. Two stars here, considering the fact that it was a quiet and decently safe area for me and my family. Would not recommend."

"So I see they are deleting my review because I’m telling the truth. Do not move here y’all google them they are being sued by DC attorney general for rent inflation. They will steal from you right in your face if you allow. They put my wife out because she was about to take them to court before they adjusted her account. They were adding attorney fees and not even filing for eviction. I call the courts to prove this. These people are fraudulent and greystat hide behind their leasing agents. Worse company ever. Do not do it!"

"These people are fraudulent they are being sued by the DC Attorney General for rent inflation. They tried to scam my wife and now saying for 2 years living there we owe 1800 in damages without sending a damage report or anything. No holes in walls nothing worth 1800 in damages. Still didn’t send a report over showing what they used the 1800 on. We will most definitely see them in court. My wife has been through hell with this property. Racist and property manager is a scammer Cindy. Google this lawsuit before even thinking about moving here. DC Attorney general sues major landlord companies."

"We’ve lived at the Townes for 2 years and are planning to move out this month. Our time at the Townes was awesome. I’m sure we truly wouldn’t have had the experience we did without the property manager Cindy. She was always so helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied in any capacity. I can’t stress enough how thankful we are for Cindy. When leasing here, I’d highly recommend asking for her!"
