"I wish there was a way to pick half a star for this terrible place it's not the treatment it's the lack of humanity in this med Express I hope not all locations are like this one. Multiple times we've experienced this and many other people I've spoken to in the area have said the same thing. That one or multiple people working here are racist towards anyone who comes into this place for medical help even the simple things end up becoming an issue all over someones terrible point of view. I'm not saying everyone here is a terrible person but they do have one or more of the staff that are very very inconsiderate and rude. If someone is sick and clearly in need of help can't breathe and is throwing up maybe you shouldn't tell them it's not their problem and that you shouldn't come here basically. How is this still possible we need to be better we need to treat each other with respect. If you took that job that line of work to be in the medical field and still think we all don't bleed red then shame on you and shame on those who raised you to be such a hateful individual. "Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a better person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in." "Came in with my mom who is ill, given an appt and told to come back 2.5 hrs later. Then when we came back told her to have a seat then never registered her and took everyone else in the waiting room. It's an urgent care, if we wanted an appt, we would have called her PCP and waited another week. Very disappointed, won't be back again!! Weds, 12/6/23 - had to take my husband in for illness, called off work, only place insurance covered near to us. Made appt for 5pm, went in, front desk told us his insurance wasnt accepted there. I showed her the phone screen that it was a participating provided. She wanted us to pay $199 and fight it out with the insurance for refund. Why would I pay that amount when his copay is $10? I went outside and called his insurance, the insurance called the office and told them they were a covered provided. The insurance was sent to he billing office. We were then put on a 3 way call to give them the billing insurance information to put in their system. After 30 minutes of being told that they do not have that billing address or phone number on their file, they didnt know what to do. The office staff is not trained, very unprofessional, and disorganized beyond belief. After fighting with them for over an hour, we left. He was unable to provide a doctor's excuse for his day off, but we explained the situation at your facility and they were very understanding. While we were there, there were also several other patients that walked out very unhappy with how the place has been run since Covid ruined the world! I have done medical billing for years and it is not rocket surgery to build a new insurance carrier into the database and the employees should know this and not make it an issue for ill and injured people! The front desk secretary just kept repeating that there wasnt a button to push...no button to push, I dont know what to do....here's an idea - call the number on the insurance card. They won't bite!!! So 2 family members now have been treated terribly!! I wont allow this to happen to them again!!"

"Med express 3/31,2023 Was there from 4:45pm till 8 pm the first time. Went to the rest room in the waiting room, the floor was wet, my knee gave out ( reason I was there is because of my knee) as I was turning and I slipped and fell. Catching myself on the hand rail by the toilet. I hurt my shoulder. I did tell the receptionist at the front desk what happened. She said she would tell them in back and ushered me out the door. 4/7/23 Upon the return visit was told I would have to pay for the exam on my shoulder. A week later, and I am still having problems with my shoulder. 4-27-23 The Director called me after this review )on the 17th) said she would see what they can do for me and I have not heard back from them. The pain is waking me up at night in tears. I feel like they don’t care. 4-30-23 The Director was supposed to get back with me two weeks ago about me falling in the restroom and hurting my shoulder. If this would’ve been looked at when I first fell, I would not have a problem. But it has been a month and I’m still not receiving any Word from anyone. This is unacceptable. 5/2/23 Received a phone call stating I could go in and get examined for free. 5/3/23 Went in for exam. Did an X-ray. 5/4/23 Received phone call stating anything beyond that exam I will have to pay for. After stating I should not have to pay for an accident on their property. They will look into what to do next. 7/19/23 I have been getting a bill for the X-ray, that I was told would be covered, for $345.00!!! Went to an orthopedic dr and paid $75.00. Had the MRI done today and that’s going to cost over $1000.00, for falling on water in the rest room and catching the handicap rail. 7/24/2023 Received another bill today. Also went to the doctor for a follow up on the shoulder, another $75.00. I have a torn rotator cuff and it requires surgery. 10/30/2023. Well, here it is going into November. Had the surgery on Aug 5th. Start therapy Thursday 11/02/2023. It will cost me $75.00 each time I go. I know it will hurt like crazy. I am already in a bunch of pain. I will probably have to go to therapy 3X a week. I sent all the bills into Med Express and have not heard a thing. So much stress and pain. I’m out of work, fortunately I have short term disability to pay some bills."

"The provider seemed annoyed to have to see me. When asked for a work excuse, I was given attitude. The excuse was then not printed. I had to ask for it again because it wasn't with my discharge paperwork. Upon leaving, I realized the work excuse had someone else's name on it so I had to return to have it fixed. I'm now getting a bill because apparently my insurance didn't go thru. I would rather lay at home and die then go back there. This is why the ER is clogged with urgent care patients"
