Founded in 2019 to serve the medically underserved community of Ashtabula County and surrounding areas, Prospect Urgent Care offers patient-centered healthcare in a state-of-the-art facility. Our experienced physicians, mid-level providers, and friendly staff are here to provide quick and affordable treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, as well as prescriptions for symptom relief.
Located in the Old Ponderosa building, our goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients at all times. We strive to offer a patient-focused, affordable, fast, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare experience for individuals of all ages.
For those without insurance, our medical facility offers treatment starting at just $80. We accept Medicaid and Medicare, and provide services such as on-site X-Rays, DOT physicals, and more. No appointments are required at Prospect Urgent Care, where we aim to provide efficient and effective healthcare services to our community.

"The doctor I saw was very rude, only checked me out for about a minute then sent someone else in to do a throat culture. This person was very aggressive and stabbed my tonsils with the swab stick and I ended up coughing on her face. She did not have a mask or gloves on so whatever I have she has and I’m sure others will too because of how unsanitary they are and don’t follow infectious disease protocols. I will not come back here again I will find another urgent care. I would not recommend this place at all. Find somewhere else that has staff that cares."
"This place always takes care of my wife. We have come to know the staff quite well from our semi frequent visits and they are the most absolutely caring people you could ask for. Kudos to them for caring instead of just treating it like another job. Also, this facility is extremely well-kept and is always clean, from the entrance lobby all the way through the hallways, and even the bathrooms. This place is a clear winner."
"I use these guys all the time but I went in today with my daughter and was turned away. Claiming I disnt pay a bill from last year that I was never even told about not to mention i have my insurance and Medicaid as a backup but they never entered it. So their mistake but they won’t see her! Never again I called back after receiving your information of miscommunication and was told the exact same thing by your receptionist that she is unable to be seen there."

"Had to stop here on a road trip and they were wonderful to work with. We got into a room in record time, and everything was clean and seemed up-to-date. Vanessa, our nurse, was the epitome of who you want in an urgent care nurse. She was such a calming presence and made us feel as if we were her only patients. She had great bedside manner and was very skilled as well! I hope the management knows what a gem they have in her as an employee!"
