"We stayed in The Monk Room. The place is beautiful. We didn’t mind but if you can’t walk up three flights of stairs you may want to stay on the lower level. I would definitely recommend this place."

"LOVED this place! It's converted to an Airbnb now, not a bed and breakfast anymore. It's old, built in 1840, but it's absolutely stunning. The pictures on the Airbnb website do not do it's size justice at all! It's very grand, but comfortable. Highly recommend."

"Delightful old federal house turned B & B, did I mention charming too?! What a gem in a beautiful neighborhood. Pam and her staff are true professionals yet make a guest feel right at home. We stayed on the top floor in the Monk's room and it was so cozy, private, gorgeous views, and comfortable. Good sized room with king size bed and large ensuite. Daily breakfast is included and it is homemade, delicious and tailored to your dietary needs. This place has it all serenity, charm, history, service and all the conveniences we want and love! And homemade chocolate chip cookies too :-)))"

"The BEST b&b! The facilities are excellent, it's very quiet and on top of the hill for minimal traffic. The owner is a fantastic hostess and saw to our every need. Breakfast was lovely, hand made, and from locally sourced ingredients."

"My wife and I stayed here for our annual Valentine's Day weekend B&B getaway and we agree this is the best B&B we've stayed at so far. Pam, our hostess, told us she was going for a "boutique hotel" feel and that's exactly what she achieved. Every morning's breakfast was a wonderful treat and there were always snacks available in the evening. Pam was kind enough to suggest a romantic restaurant in town (Ristorante Ottaviani) and even made reservations for us. Now a few words of caution. We visited in February and it was very, very cold so activities such as biking and hiking were limited. Also, the train wasn't running so Spring/Summer/Fall seem to be the best times to visit if you're looking for a greater variety of activity. Second, there isn't a lot to do in town. There are a couple antique shops and a few restaurants, but that's about it. If you're looking to do some boutique shopping, you'll be disappointed. Another thing to keep in mind, if you're a Sprint customer, you should know that you'll be roaming the entire time. Thankfully, the WiFi at the Inn is more than fast enough for Skype. Finally, while we had plenty of available plugs in our room, they weren't all in one place. We found ourselves wishing for a power strip near the desk to plug in our gadgets. Pam was kind enough to provide one, but you may want to bring your own just in case. Oh, and before I forget, stay far, far away from City Lights. That restaurant was awful. The appetizers we had were so bad that we didn't even bother to attempt any main dishes. They charge high class prices for food that looked and tasted like it came out of a can. So, in closing, great food, great accommodations, and great service from a wonderful hostess! Visit in the Spring/Summer/Autumn and watch your roaming minutes if you're a Sprint customer. And stay away from City Lights."
