"We just moved to the area and did not have a vet yet. We had only been here for a couple of weeks when one of our dogs needed some urgent care. Being a military family, we've moved a bunch of times. Each time, we need to find a new everything ... including a vet. Sometimes, the first try is great, but sometimes, it's terrible. I usually do a lot of research, read tons of reviews, ask redditors, etc.... I chose Vestal Veterinary Hospital due to the feedback I had found. I was not disappointed. Of course, there are always a couple of bad reviews for any business. You just can't please everybody. I have been involved in animal rescue for many years (nearly 20) and have had dogs for the past 35 years. I have had many experiences with many vets. Although I've only had one experience with Vestal Veterinary Hospital, it was a great one. The front desk staff, the techs, and the doctor were all very caring and friendly. The doctor was thorough and gentle with my senior dog. The only reason I gave a "9" instead of a "10" is because I have only had one visit. We are trying a couple of medications for a condition that has not yet resolved. I have a feeling something more is going on, but it is too soon to tell. If I have repeat visits and we keep taking steps to figure this out and resolve it (if it is something that can be resolved), then I will absolutely give a rating of "10". So far, I love this vet! I do recommend them based on my experience."

"Called Vestal Vet and got dog in immediately. They were prompt at taking in dog at scheduled time. Examined her and came back with answers to questions in a short time. They gave a thorough summary and took care of any issues with medication changes, all in about 30 minutes. This owner and dog were very pleased."
