"visited Binghamton for medical issues and found Homewood a good value vs seeking out the Airbnb-type alternative. it was nice to have an 'antiseptic' room to move into and everything worked as advertised. an excellent breakfast was included and the location was convenient but quiet. we will stay here again."

"it's a great hotel all around but with just one major complaint ... the water is so hard here that it's a near death experience in the shower everytime. also it feels like the soap never rinses off. other than that very clean for the lost part but the parking lot can get congested. I would stay here again."

"I like to give credit where credit is due. I was on an assignment for nearly 5 months and this place became a second home for me. The staff and service were really exceptional. Until they weren’t. Within my last month of this extended stay my outlook of my visit had changed. I went back home for a weekend like I normally do and would expect to return the following Monday with all my belongings to be exactly where I left them. I noticed my Apple charger valued at $60 was missing. I first noticed the site manager Cyre of the missing item, he stated he’d “ask any and everyone who had access to my suite” for that “weekend” and also mentioned if I “purchase the charger and provide proof of purchase” he’d reimburse me for my charger that went missing. When I approached him with the receipt after our discussion he stated “oh I can’t do that, I can’t replace “personal” expenses” this item went missing at this hotel. It may be a “petty” complaint but this was my item that I purchased while I was on my assignment and to have it taken by someone who had access to my suite is absurd. I did contact the customer service hotline for Homewood Suites and they claimed that they were “not able to replace personal items”. This experience changed my entire outlook on homewood suites especially this particular one. Anything of value lock away, inquire if there’s a safe they’re able to provide. Good luck."

"Great experience staying at Homewood. I have traveled so many times, stayed at so many hotels (5 stars and VIPs) and airbnbs. This little hotel with all of its warm colors is quite special. It is an old one but has such a positive and comforting vibe. The staff is super friendly and kind. Jane, Sre, and Ben treat you like they are genuinely happy to have you staying at the hotel. The Halloween decorations in the lobby are also quite nice. Totally recommend it and I hope you enjoy it too."

"We stayed at this place for two nights. A very special place and I tell you why. All the staff were very friendly especially Ben who works in the dining area. You could sense that they really cared about their customers. We visited during October. The Halloween decorations were also very special. I highly recommend this place!"
