"I love this place. I've been coming here for three years. Originally for the price, and now for the value. I have loved my hair every single time I leave this salon. I've only ever worked with the students, but they are so motivated and well supervised by long time stylists, that I always feel taken care of. I've gotten full and partial highlights, a keratin treatment, tons of hair cuts, and styles."

"OMG! I usually spend hundreds of dollars to get some highlights and a haircut at the salon! And almost never go to a hairstylist because it is not affordable for me these days. So, luckily I searched for this stylist school in Arlington and just drove there! When I came inside I was asked if I want to use a professional hairstylist(who was regular price as everywhere) or I want to get a haircut by their students and it is so inexpensive and affordable. I chose students and got a nice haircut and once the lady was done with my haircut, I asked about partial highlights! That was the best decision ever! I met Sara who was my highlights lady and she did a brilliant job just being a student! "Please do not go to this place, especially men. Whoever kenny is, he is too busy to be around the trainees and other people make a wreck of your hair. The only good part about this store are the trainees who are super gentle. I got my haircut inconsistently with patches of hair where my skin was showing. I wish i could give this place a minus five."

"Terrible experience. Had a groupon for a Brazilian blowout. Saw the place as I was parking and thought “oh my god, what have I gotten myself into”. But I decided to trust and go ahead. The woman who did my hair was very lovely. It because very apparent to me that they were not teaching her correctly when she dried and straightened my hair and said I was done. Anyone who has gotten a Brazilian blowout (the one that is safe for your hair) knows that after that step, your hair is rinsed, a special spray and serum is applied, and the hair is dried again. Only then is the process complete. I asked about it and the lovely woman doing my hair asked both instructors who were present about it. The lady simply insisted they were doing it correctly (you can simply watch the tutorial online by googling Brazilian blowout tutorial and it’s the first that shows up). Also, you can create a straighter effect by doing 7-8 passes on a higher temp or keep some of the body by doing 3-4 passes on a lower temp. I was not asked what I preferred, and the straightening iron used on my hair looked like it was 100 years old with product and chemicals caked on it. Do not patronize this place. They do not teach correctly and the teachers insisted that they were. My hair looks and feels like straw. Never again."

I feel like I learned a lot about my own hair while I was there. She knew exactly when to jump in and when to let my stylist do his thing.
