Ana's Kids

"My two children attended Ana's Kids from March 2021 to May 2022. They were 3 years old and 9 months old when they started at the school. Both of them absolutely loved the school, the teachers, and their friends. After my younger child learned to walk, she would run excitedly into the classroom each morning to hug her teachers. The teachers are loving and nurturing. They took great care with COVID precautions. The classrooms are clean. The children learn so much; my 3 year old was reciting the days of the week and the months of the year both in English and Spanish. She came away with a fairly impressive Spanish vocabulary. The children walk to the park each day to play (and in the summer, they sometimes go to the splash park). The only reason we left Ana's Kids is because we moved out of the area. We were extremely sad to leave, and my older child still talks about missing her Little Penguins class. We would return in a heartbeat if we could, and we highly recommend this center."

"This was our first experience with daycare, and to be honest, I was hesitant to send my son anywhere at all. I am now so sad that he has to leave! The space is cozy, inviting, safe, and clean. The teachers are incredible. Not only do they love and care for the babies, but my almost 2 year old is soaking up the bilingual curriculum and loving it. He gets time to go outside, play with his friends, and eat the many, many things that that child can consume in a day. :) The classroom is not crowded, and they have been very communicative and flexible as needed throughout the pandemic. I’m just so happy that my baby has been so well cared for and that he gets excited when we tell him it’s time for “baby school!” Thank you, Ana’s Kids!"

"Ana's Kids is everything you want in a day care/preschool: attentive teachers, engaging activities for learning, nutritional food, physical activity. My oldest started at age 4 months and left to attend kindergarten. Her brother joined her when he was three months old. I am thankful we found Ana's Kids. As a working parent, I knew my kids were well cared for. We also loved the consistency that Ana's Kids provided for these early childhood years. During this pandemic, Ana's has worked diligently to provide a safe environment and a slice or normalcy for children. I highly recommend."

"My son attended Ana's Kids in Crystal City for 4 years, from under age 2 until Kindergarten. We chose the day care because of the small class sizes compared to others we visited, and the approach to learning through play. My son had a small and consistent cohort of friends and a teacher he adored for multiple years, so it was like his second home. He learned a lot in the preschool class and was ready to start kindergarten this year. Ana and the teachers are also very on top of everything related to safety and medication, and very easy to reach and responsive with questions or issues. We would definitely make the same choice again!"

"My husband and I started bringing our daughter to Ana’s Kids when she was 11 weeks old in mid-2019. Since the very beginning we knew she was in great hands. We loved how Ana’s Kids was smaller than some of the other childcare centers in Crystal City and felt that our daughter always got the attention deserved. The care providers were fantastic and it was clear that they cared for our daughter as she did them. We have just moved out of Arlington so unfortunately we had to pull her out of Ana’s Kids and this was one of the harder parts of our move. We strongly recommend Ana’s kids to any new families in Crystal City."
