"If I could give less than 1 star, I would. My grandmothers health has been declining greatly since my grandfathers death last year. She’s currently been very cold and very weak. She’s not often hungry and is made to eat meals when prepared, and even then, she will have half of the serving before she is full. So with that, my grandmother was scheduled an iron infusion to help get her body the nutrients it desperately needs. First, I’ll address the egregious lack of empathy dr bataille has! She spent the entire appointment shaming my grandmother for her dehydration which makes it difficult to find a vein for the infusion. I can understand advising to drink more fluids but this was bonafide shaming. I lost count of the amount of times this dr mentioned to my grandmother how she (my grandmother) is making her (dr B) work “so much more difficult than I’ve ever experienced”. Which leads me to my second point: we were made to feel like such an inconvenience to the dr. The dr very condescendingly stated, “if this were a hospital with 100 other patients waiting for me, I wouldn’t be able to see them because I have to spend so much time with you.” My grandmother wasn’t even able to receive the iron infusion that cost $300 and in the end was only given judgement and snide remarks. No empathy from a healthcare provider is such an atrocious trait to have and I will NEVER understand why anyone would go to this dr’s office."

"1.5 hour wait times post check-in. Doctor is dismissive and seems to have no empathy for patients. Medical providers are meant to care for all patients, not belittle them for asking questions about their own health. If you lack the patience to communicate with patients and staff, then you need to revalue the profession you’re in. I understand the medical field is stressful, but there is no excuse for talking down to someone who is obviously sick and pleading with you to help them, not to mention that they are paying for a service you are providing. My suggestion: Find an alternative provider."

"The office staff here sucks!! The two Hispanic ladies working in the office are so unprofessional and biased towards the patients it is unbelievable how they are still employed there. They will look at the phone ring and if it is not a patient that they want to deal with they will not answer the call or return a left message. They seem to be biased towards African American patients even though the physician that owns the practice is black. The physician is a caring sweetheart, however her office staff makes it impossible to remain a patient at that office. Please be warned your patience will be tried!"
