"Training horrible for staff. My autistic son, 65lbs, had his arm broken by staff member while he was screaming ‘you are breaking my arm’. Because he was sitting in grass outside and refused to come in when directed, they instituted a dangerous restraint to bring him into building. Subsequent placement into another private autism school has exhibited zero restraint. He didn’t require it. I asked school to revisit their training and contacted restraint program. No response. The behavioral approach and restraint system used is dangerous and resulted in broken bones of a small child. CPS was involved as well as law enforcement and I understand Aurora still kept teacher employed. Ongoing request with Comm Atty to prosecute."
