"The vets are cool. JUST BE CAREFUL SIGNING UP FOR THEIR PLANS. The fine print really matters you get locked in to a year long contract or forced to pay out some balance for services not rendered to 'reimburse the hospital'."

"I wish I can say that I had a good experience. Care was denied as I was 10 mins late d/t unwanted circumstances. This is the only time it happened in the 8 years that I have been there. I always come on time, no issues, the one time it happened for a new Kitten appointment. I was dumped, even the physician was not accommodating so I have to walk out with a bitter taste in my mouth. I felt very disrespected as I am a physician my self and try to accommodate as much as I can. She looked tired and frustrated may be even burned out. I felt sorry for her as well and did not wanted to be a burden so I left. It seems that she had scheduled 3 appointments in 30 mins, mine was a new patient and she was planing to see us in 10 mins. I guess, I will have to look for another provider in another pet clinic for all three of my cats."

"I’ve brought my pets here for the last 12 years but now have to change vets because of their “policy” about checking animals in. Long story short about ten years ago I tried to change the name on the account from my roommates to mine, but they told me I could only change the last name for some reason (don’t ask me why) so it ended up having my last name and my old roommates first name. This was never an issue until today when I brought my cat in and they refused to see him because my first name did not match what’s on the account. After going back and forth with the front staff for 45 minutes, I was told to call corporate and have them close the account and only then could I open a new account. I asked if my wife could come check him in since her name is on the account but they again said no because it was “too late in the day” (4:30PM) and this account has to be closed. I stood there crying because they wouldn’t give me a refill for my cat’s medication that he needs daily or he self-harms until he’s seen by the doctor but the doctor won’t see him because my first name didn’t match. They said it’s because I could refuse to pay and not authorize a payment but why would I do that? I have had an optimum wellness plan forever and have never had an issue paying for my THREE pets BIANNUAL visits. Unreal that capitalism is now affecting my animals well-being when you choose profits over helping. My visit would’ve been $0 with my plan. Make it make sense. No manager or doctor came out to speak to me even though they know me and my pets. The next appointment they offered me is in 3 weeks so I’ll be taking my 3 pets elsewhere, good luck with your new policies and unhappy patients who will continue to leave to find better care."

"After getting my lovely blue heeler, I was very careful in picking where I wanted to take him for his first vet experience. My sister helped set up my appointment since she had brought her dog in at a different day than me. She told me my appointment was at 8am and when I showed up, they told me my appointment was actually at 5pm, an hour before they close, and that was a huge bummer. The lady at the front (I forgot to get her name) did however take care of the situation diligently and just told me they would still be able to see that on that day even though the doctor that was originally supposed to see my pup was unavailable. When I did show up I was met with top notch customer service. I felt like I was being annoying with all my questions but each of my my questions were answered with calmness and articulation. I did mention that my appointment was at 5pm, an hour before they closed, and I did not feel rushed at all. When it was time to sign up for a wellness plan, I had all my questions answered and they made sure I was well aware of what I needed to do while ensuring my pup was going to be receiving the best care. Due to Covid, I was unable to go in to speak to vet but when the vet called me, she was very thorough and answered all the questions I had, even suggesting things I hadn’t even thought of! Overall I must say that I am glad that I came in here as they made me feel very safe and assured that my pup was getting the best care! Very special shoutout to Raymond, who went above and beyond in ensuring I understood everything that I was being told to sign and even suggested various things that were useful in terms of health insurance."
