"Do not go here unless you want to be billed by multiple entities and have poor customer service in their billing and coding dept. I took my mom hear for ER visit due to being in excruiting ear pain and her bp was off the charts. The ER dr was good but later we received a 5k bill from Inova ( insurance rejected claim) and 2k bill from.3rd party company billing us specifically for the Dr. (Insurance rejected claim). Both bills rejected due to how they coded things. When the insurance reached out for verification and to fix they ignored. When I reached out to billing and coding they both refused to look into and said their coding team was correct and they were not changing anything. I had to do an appeal with the insurance company. All of this was communicated in writing to Inova. Insurance ended up paying the bill in the appeal and they decided to still send her to collections after the insurance paid for the $125 copay. Instead of notifying us of our balance of a copay. All of this was sent to collections after the insurance paid. This is just petty on Inova. Long story short unless you have the energy to fight the billing system stay away."

"When we checked out, I was told No co-pay. A week later, my explanation of benefits (EOB) said I owned $250. I stopped by ask the Receptionist for help which she gave me Inova billing number call which said they have not nothing to do with it because we went to Urgent care. Doctor are very professional, however Nurses and Receptionist need to work on their customer service."

"Steven B Chen said disrespectful things to me and flat out told me he wasn't going to help. He left the room without checking on me and called security to escort me out because I wanted to record the racist things he was saying. DO NOT GO here. I asked him to help with my pain he literally said "You're not getting it from me". What doctor says things like that and that he wouldn't do something for "someone like me" what does that mean?! Someone like me? Why would a innocent honest man run from being voice recorded if what they are saying to me isn't bad? Red flag a truthful man wouldn't care if he is being recorded or not. He knew he was being racist but tried to hide. FOLLOW UP. I talked to Brian Miller from the INOVA team about the issue. He told me that the hospital can do what they want. "Their discretion." That there isn't anything they will do about how Chen talked or acted. Then proceeded to say there's nothing they will do.. " what do you want me to do about it?" He talked over top of me and was pressing the issue to get off the topic. He didn't validate the racist issue and neglect, he was more worried about the doctor. Also found out the Chen said in my health notes I was highly upset about not getting stronger meds. Why would you put that in my notes.. you can tell his isn't about the patient. When he was the one who got upset bc I was going to record his racism. If you look on their website it tells you their responsibilities and they failed many of those yet Brian is protecting them. So I asked for someone new to talk to and he said "that won't do anything". Sounds like he's trying to shut me up and not tell higher-ups."

"Went for sn ultrasound on a Sunday and was met w a friendly smile and welcome from Val at the front desk, who was a joy and very helpful! Kadie did the scans and was also wonderful and informative! Great way to start my Sunday morning! Thanks, ladies!!"

"My mother was taken to INOVA Lorton for severe stomach pains. It was the first time she was admitted after 40+ years, otherwise she’s a healthy person. Of course she was very nervous. Nurse Lauren Schwindtrusup took such good care of her. She was so gentle, patient and very knowledgeable. She received the utmost care by all the staff members until she was transported to INOVA Mt. Vernon. We highly recommend this hospital."
