"Overall bad experience. I scheduled an appointment for acrylic nail removal and gel manicure and was asked if I could do an earlier time, which I agreed to. The entire process was rushed. Very aggressive and painful nail removal. When I showed them my color (off white) they tried to tell me that they only had it in dip powder. I said I was doing gel. Then they brought out the exact color in gel. I told the tech how I wanted my nail shaped but it was ignored. I had to ask her to refile a few nails to match. My manicure came out extremely bumpy and uneven."

"I got a recommendation from a patient saying how amazing they were so I decided to come and check them out. She greeted me with an ear pierced in her ear. She was talking to something through my whole experience. She didn’t agree with what I asked her for in regards to my mani and pedi. I wanted French tips and she was against it due to addition of nail tips. She kept nodding yes when I confirmed I was receiving French manis and I would appreciate it if we could continue with that. Some how….between the gluing of the tips and shaping of the tip it turns into an almond tip. I tell her that is not what I want and she says that it is and that is what I asked for. She ignores me and continues on. As she’s using the dip and color, she misses the edges and I point that to her over and over again. She ignores It and continues with her personal convo. At this point I have glue and paint under my nails and have asked her to clean up and she said she will later. Not even don’t with my nails another customer comes in and asks for two other services and my tech starts to rush through. She doesn’t even finish my hands and when I show her what she needs to clean, she says it’ll come off later. She proceeds to tell me that I need to come in tomorrow for my pedi because they have line now ( this line of 1 is a walk-ins). So she doesn’t do what I ask, 1/2 does what I asked for, ignores me when I ask for clarification or to have it fixed and pushed my service to another day. All in all, she charges me $71 for a service I could’ve done somewhere else and they would’ve treated me better. My paints already falling off and I couldn’t even get the shape I wanted because she refuses to listen to me. I would NEVER recommend a place like this to anything. Being in a customer service field and also a healthcare professional, this was just an horrible experience. OH! And they don’t sanitize anything. They just grab the scissors or brush used by a previous tech and brush it off on isopropyl alcohol. By not allowing it to sit in the alcohol, is just asking for germs to spread. 10/10 would NOT recommend."

"I just recently found this gem of a nail salon! I made an appointment and when I walked in, I was serviced immediately. This shop is smaller but very clean and the staff was very welcoming. Vivi was my mail tech and she did an excellent job with my powder dipped nails. It’s been exactly two weeks and my nails are still in perfect condition without a single chip. I asked for a design on my ring fingers but didn’t have any particular designs in mind. Vivi was very gentle and she did such an elegant hand-painted flower design with amazing attention to detail. I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend Chic Nails!"
