"There are a lot of nail salons in DC, but this one is THE BEST hands down. They offer complimentary wine, tea, coffee...get you right in and really get into your toes and nails! My feet are totally brand new after my pedicure. They are super friendly and the experience was very pleasant. Would give 10 stars if I could."

"I came in last week for a gel mani & regular pedi and am absolutely obsessed with the results. Tien was very meticulous in shaping and painting my nails, and they still haven’t chipped!! I’ve done yard work, gone to the pool, and washed dishes, and I’m so impressed that they’ve lasted this long because this hasn’t always been my experience with gel (pic is 8 days after I got them done!). The salon is little pricey I feel like, but comparable for the area and definitely worth it now that I know how good of a job they can do! EDIT: THESE LASTED LIKE FIVE WEEKS and I’ve been out of town and only now able to get them redone…not a chip in sight though…I’m amazed"

"Takeaway - fast service, attention to detail, no upcharging, super nice I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was immediately greeted when I walked in. By the time I was done checking in (2 mins), my pedicurist already had a chair ready for me. The salon has a nice ambience and is very clean. Parking was easy in the neighborhood nearby, but there are also metered spots on the same street. I got the sports pedicure because I wanted callus removal and a paraffin mask. The callus removal was not super intense, but I also did not indicate that I wanted more. I got one nail repaired (with a thin layer of acrylic overlay) because it broke. My two nails match perfectly. Tiffany, who did my pedicure, made sure I liked the color I picked and added a layer of white under so that it would be as opaque as I wanted. She was very careful and detailed. Most importantly - no one tried to pressure me into getting gel after I said I wanted regular polish!! Next up was my gel-x nails with extension on my hand. Andy did that. He shaped my nails perfectly - no crooked fingers! He was very careful with the filing, so no cuts or pain. And though I had wanted a colored french tips, my nail beds were damaged from my last manicure, so they weren't looking to great. Andy showed me different nude bases, but we ultimately concluded that the nude base would not look good. I went for a solid color instead and it looks great! It's a perfect match for my dress (pictured). I got bumped on my foot while my nails were getting done, and one of the staff members fixed it for me - quick, no fuss, and she was super nice about it. Overall, I would highly recommend. I have avoided nail salons for the past year because I was tired of rudeness, people who tried to pressure me into getting more expensive things I didn't ask for or simply did those things and then wanted to charge me for them. Ivey Nails is not like that at all. The people are very nice and transparent and there's even a discount Monday-Wednesday!"

"Ivey Nails and Spa was such a great experience. Booking online was easy, and I was able to add new services over the phone when my plans changed. The salon had so many colors to pick from ranging from regular, gel and dip polished. Service was prompt, and I was offered a beverage while I waited to start my service. They had so many options (including nonalcoholic options that weren’t just water), which I appreciated. Cassie was very detailed for my manicure and pedicure which look amazing! Monday - Wednesday, they have a 10% off special for mani/pedis which was a pleasant surprise!"
