"The pharmacy is horrible! The prescriptions are never ready in a timely manner. The last two times my doctor sent them over, I purposefully waiting 5+ hours, went to pick them up, waiting in line for 25 minutes to learn they were not staffed properly to fill it, and had to wait 20 more minutes. Today is my last visit to CVS Waterloo. I will change to Walgreens or Rite Aid."

"The quality of customer service has declined significantly over the past couple of years. The automated service doesn't always submit your prescription. Now it seems like they don't have enough staff at the pharmacy so the line is so long. It takes days to get prescriptions filled. It's very disappointing how this location has declined."

"Stood in line (see photos) for 1 hour to pick up a prescription for my sick wife that was suppose to be ready. Was told it would be available by 5pm. Then 7pm rolls around - it still wasn't ready... That's ok - I'll wait. But no - they refused to fill it before they closed (at 8pm) because, quoting the pharmacist "we are too short-staffed". I'm utterly disgusted by the indifference shown by the completely incompetent pharmacy staff. I worked in a pharmacy for 8 years and have never in my life seen anything like this place. And it wasn't the first time we've had a problem here, but it will be the last. Someone at corporate needs to get involved. This is the first review I've ever left for anything... just hoping this helps someone else avoid a horrible experience."

"If I could leave zero stars, I would! If you are looking for a Cvs, look somewhere else. I am pulling my prescriptions out of this store. You can call in a request for a refill at 10 AM, be told it’s only gonna take an hour. You will then arrive at 7 PM to find it not ready. I don’t get, I can’t change it, and apparently neither can they, therefore I’m leaving. So should you, you should demand better service for your money!"

"Sadly, this once-good pharmacy has spiraled downward in quality over the years. It now takes three days to fill a prescription (if you're lucky). I placed a phone refill order on Friday morning and the automated voice said it would be ready by 1pm that day. I showed up at 2pm Saturday (giving them a whole extra 24 hours) and it was still not ready. They told me to come back an hour later, but when I returned at 5pm, it was *still* not ready. The lines are always twenty people deep regardless of what time you arrive. The drive-up window is often closed. They seem to not care about solving this overload problem, so I'll be taking my business elsewhere."
