Ross Dress for Less

"Ross in Glen Burnie is This is the worst possible store to shop at. The so called area manager Celia or CeCe on her name tag needs to be investigated, Prosecuted, and fired immediately. I have Covid so my family was making returns for me. I get a call from my family shocked because the so called manager will not return my items. We had the original receipt, gift receipts, tags, and the items. She was yelling at some customers before them. She gave no reason and told them to call corporate because she couldn’t be bothered. I felt terrible and I called them. I was told to go back to the store the next day and call corporate while I was in the store. I took my tired sick self to the store this morning . The cashier Amber, wasn’t sure how to return items and asked this same manager for assistance. She starts yelling across the store that she can’t be bothered and has not gotten paid. After exhibiting more ignorant behavior, she subsequently hung up when corporate called . They kept calling the store and she refused to pick up the phone. Finally, a loss prevention worker picked up the phone apologized put the phone back on hold and the manager said she refused to deal with corporate. She finally returned some of my items, but decided to arbitrarily not return one. Then she took the another item, She supposedly returned, gave me a receipt only for me to find that she had taken one of my items, hidden behind the counter, and not giving me credit for it. The only thing she said to me was, do you want your receipt? I told the cashier to give me my item that I was not credited for, and I proceeded to leave the store after standing there for an hour. I have filed a corporate complaint against this car area manager, and if they had not given me my item back, I would have been charging them with theft. This type of retail experience is absolutely unacceptable, and cannot be tolerated under any circumstance. Currently waiting to receive a call from the district manager to try to rectify the situation. Please do not shop at this location under any circumstance. #RossDressForLess"

"One of the worst experiences shopping happened here today. A cashier took it upon herself to yell at my 7 year old daughter in the rudest way possible for pushing a chair we were about to pay for. Then thought it was appropriate to announce over the intercom for all parents to keep their children next to their sides at all times. Completely uncalled for and completely out of line. Last time I checked a cashier's job was not to be ignorant and scream at people's children. Needless to say, we will never be back to this store again. Couldn't be more disrespectful and condescending."
