"Tragically what was once a stunningly beautiful trail teeming with life and filled with native plants and pollinators has now been destroyed by non-native and highly invasive mugwort. The trail is now devoid of life. Heartbreaking to witness. Sussex County unfortunately doesn't make protecting nature and biodiversity a priority."

"One of the best places in Sussex County to watch the sunset. Great place to see a lot of bird life; good trail that can get muddy in some spots, and a little tight with vegetation growth in the summertime. I love walking this place year round."

"Wonderful park worth the walk that used to be a peat bog for commercial use. This is located next to the rail trail. There is also access from a partly hidden lot on Rt 94. Many birds to be seen here including swans, eagles, hawks, and herons. Turtles and chipmunks are also plentiful. Note the water level rises and falls quite a bit and the area can range from swampy mud to hard packed dirt."

"Small one lan access road to a limited parking area. Long straight walk, over flat terrain with marshland on both sides makes for an interesting experience. Bald eagles have been seen, but not today. For me, a relaxing serine area."

"One of my favorite places to walk year round in Sussex county. Abundant wildlife and beautiful marsh views. Can get muddy after rain or snow melt, so be prepared!"
