"We absolutely love The Great Divide. There is so much to do, even on weekdays. They have planned activities every day. They have a great playground and game room for the kids. On weekends, they have great bands on the lawn on Friday and Saturday nights with cozy fires that they tend. Sometimes they’ll have bands on Thursdays, Saturday afternoons and sometimes there’s entertainment by the pool on Wednesday. That said, if you want peace and quiet, the camping area is somehow sheltered and quiet while the bands play. The staff is friendly and attentive and the campground is pristine."

"Our new favorite campground!! This place is AWESOME! We loved the beautiful lake with kayaks and activities for the whole fam. We stayed a full week.. weekends are very lively and weekdays very quiet so depending what you prefer, you can have it all. Live music every weekend and all-out delicious pancake breakfast on Sats. Great vibe from the other campers and super friendly staff. We can't wait to come back next season when the pool is open. Book early they sell out quick!"

"I'm from PA and travel for work staying in campgrounds all over. This is the most beautiful campground I've seen yet! A lot of hard work has to go into the maintenance here. Grass, trees, roads, everything is well maintained. Campground staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. I highly recommend this place to any of my fellow travel healthcare workers!!"

"This campground is definitely one of the best campgrounds around! Tons to do, the campsites are immaculate, the pool is so clean and nice, the barn is really cool, music at the pavilion was so fun...and the staff is super helpful and friendly! The staff at most of the campgrounds we've visited often seem disgruntled but not here! We will definitely return as often as we can!"

"My friends and I stayed in the yurt “kinda” camping site over the weekend, and the whole experience was fantastic. I am a frequent camper, and have stayed at camp sites from Lake George to West Virginia… The Great Divide is by far the nicest place I have stayed. The yurt site was incredibly clean, well maintained, and surprisingly spacious. The pictures posted on the website in no way do it justice. The site was right across from the cleanest campground bathrooms I’ve ever seen. I lost count of how many times the staff came to clean them, but it was at least seven times throughout the day on Saturday. All of the staff was super friendly, and seemed to really enjoy working there. The owner was present, approachable, and was actively working alongside the staff, and never gave the “hey I’m the boss” type of vibe. The rules for quite time at 11, and fires out at midnight are reasonable, and understandable for a family campground. My friends and I did keep the fire going right up to the midnight cut off trying to enjoy all the time we could, but we were respectfully quiet, and no one gave us a hard time. AND THEN THERE’S THE ENTERTAINMENT!!!... The musical guests are why we came, and they did not disappoint. If you are in anyway a music fan this is the place. Friday night had a band until 10:30, and there were three bands booked to play all day Saturday. If you were hanging by the pool, fishing or Kayaking on the lake, playing the yard games they had set up, or just hanging out you had great live music the whole time. If you are concerned about the music being too loud at your campsite don’t be. The entertainment area is separated from the campsites by a hill that blocks almost all sound; so, if it’s not your thing it’s all good. Also, to mention it is not a crazy rowdy party, just the right amount of party that families with young children can enjoy too. Unfortunately, a storm knocked out power Saturday night to the campground, and most of the surrounding area, and the third band wasn’t able to play. The owner and staff did a great job mitigating the power outage by connecting the bathrooms, and shower houses to generator power making sure the site still had lighted bathrooms with warm running water. My ONLY complaint is that maybe this place is just too awesome… I have been trying to come here with my RV for two years, and they are always booked out. I did learn at the office that they start taking reservations a year in advance, and they fill up quick. I’m just going to have start planning for next year now. Over all just a great place to visit. Thank you, The Great Divide, for an awesome weekend!"
