"The hotdogs were cold the fries were so greasy they were dripping with grease! Very disappointed in this place used to be one of my favorites now I will never step foot back in that place The only reason I gave him one star is because I had to to write a review"
"This place had some delicious chili dogs! I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. It has plenty of seating inside, despite appearing smaller from the outside. It also has a really interesting drive-thru. They had cherry floats on the menu that looked tasty, but I was too full from the food to have any room for dessert. I would make another stop there if I was in the area, just to try one. The service was the only thing that was a little lacking, but they weren't rude, just not friendly. I'd still stop again. Oh, and we spent less than $10 per person, and we all had 2 hot dogs with our preferred toppings, a side, and a drink. That was an absolute steal!"
"We only go here when visiting the area, but the "staple" chilli dogs seem to have changed. Not as yummy. Bummer, but will still be back! Oh, and please fix your American flags."
"An East Liverpool staple! Under new ownership, the hot dog shoppe is slightly more expensive and slightly stingier, yet still what customers have come to know, expect, and love. While they don’t keep ketchup out on the tables (it’s the small things) and small changes to their malts, fries, and otherwise, the hot dog shoppe is still a must stop when in town."
"Excellent service, good hometown food. We had the chili-cheese dogs and cheese fries. Ordered the large cheese fries and it was big enough to feed two people, so be sure to just get a regular if only one is eating them. The cheese is not shredded, it is almost like a cheddar cheese sauce. The chili was almost like a sauce too...did not notice any meat in it if there was any. The crew behind the counter provided the best, most friendly service I think I have ever received from anywhere. Overall, the food was tasty and the workers were great, so I would recommend The Hot Dog Shoppe and will be returning someday."
