"Department store shopping has lost it's shine! My visit to this one was overall disappointing. The Big and Tall section was tucked away in a far corner of the store next to the luggage, with a very limited selection. The were no staff to be found anywhere on the floor and the fitting room nearby was dark and full of clutter no open for use. The other fitting room was according to an associate "use at your own risk" do to the possibility of female customers using it too. The store as a whole had a feeling of despair."

"Didn't open until 11 a.m. Update: I wasn't frustrated with the opening time. I just wanted to share the time in the event someone else will assume as I did that the store opened earlier. I always have a pleasant experience when I visit. Being reminded that I have rewards to use is helpful during checkout."

"JCPennys has come a long way from what I remember as a child. The inclusivity of sizes is really nice. We found a great winter coat on sale within just a few minutes. It was relatively clean and well organized, given it’s the Christmas season it wasn’t perfect but they were also out in force to fix it up. The staff who assisted us were friendly and helpful. The cashiers were busy keeping the line moving as quickly as possible."

"Well stocked in every department especially for Christmas gift and clothing. My brands carried like Worthington, a n a, Klein, etc. Found the pizza round stone to bake ! I have shopped everywhere and jc Penney had it! Great sales in every department. My city lost its Jcpenney so now here in my new state I can shop here again. Only negative I was charged 2xs for an item and waited an hour to get my credit returned to me."

"On Sunday, I came into your store looking for a Comforter for my new bed. I stopped in your Columbia, Maryland store, and I did see a few others I liked better, but I was chaperoning a field trip, and I had students with me. Your store was clean, organized, and neat in the bedding section. You didn't have a large selection of King sizes. I had been to Home Goods, Marshall's, Burlington, and Macy's with no success. I found the set in the picture and decided to purchase it. Purple is my favorite color, and I have never had a purple comforter. When I went to the register, it was a very long line. The presentation from the back of the line was not as neat and clean has in the bedding section. I could tell the cashiers had been busy, and no one had the time to put away the returns. However, they moved that line! It went very fast, and they asked everyone if they wanted a JC Penny credit card. Even though I didn't choose to apply, I took the mental note that at least asked me. I found a set. It looks beautiful! It wasn't what I thought I would end up with, but I am pleased. Thank you!"
