"Today my husband, my special needs toddler, my elderly mother in law and myself visited this location..we stood in line for well over 30 mins before another employee was called to open another register. The cashier eventually came to the register, however instead of directing the other person in line to proceed to her register decided to acknowledge her fri3nd that was a few persons behind us in the same line. My husband politely told the manager that was standing close by, that we had been standing in line for quite sometime. The manager literally had no response...the ladies that were bold faced enough to walk up to the cashier started ranting and cussing, while the staff looked at us like we did not belong there....the cashier even indicated this is WABASH location! The racism i felt in this store was beyond words when the cashier said out loud * yall n*******^ , then turned around, realised we are of Indian decent and said * oh I forgot we are a diversified place now * We finally got to our cashier,I politely paid and left with my family. Never again....first and last trip to this store."

"Moving into new house and friend recommended this Wabash Ave, Baltimore store for pictures, and household goods. Nice items, but I left without buying anything. Too many items had missing prices, so I had to keep interrupting stocker Sean Vaughn for price checks, aisle cluttered with carts, but most appalling, the bathroom, omg. I was there around 9:15 am, and the bathroom was gross, feces, toilet paper in the floor, baby changing table dirty, one sink broken, covered with tape, andsoap dispenser not mounted. Doesn't this place have a manger who cks out store, before opening?! Just because this store is in predominantly black neighborhood doesn't mean this substandard treatment should be the norm"

"I had a pleasant experience - decent prices, friendly staff, helpful hours, found what I needed. If you're walking here from Rogers Ave Metro station be careful though, the sidewalks and intersections are not in great condition and drivers can be pretty crazy coming off of Northern Pkwy. I might take the 82 bus next time even though it's close to the Metro."

"Great place to buy pretty, good stuff for a cheaper price. They have lots of decor stuff. Their clothes look kind of cheap but their rugs are an unbeatable price as far as I can see. Today I saved about $70 by not buying my blankets from Amazon and walking into Rose's. UPDATE: The twin sized comforter shredded on some parts the first time I washed it. My Queen sized sheets, while it has beautiful pattern, does NOT fit. Its too small. So they are good for somethings but Ill be more cautious buying bedding there."

"I went into the new Roses on Wabash Avenue today. Very disappointed with customer service. Six employees standing up front not doing anything. When i asked if someone could open a dressing room, i was told I"ll try to find someone with a key", but nobody ever showed up. When I went to check out, same six employees standing around but only one register open. I asked one of the employees just standing around if someone could open another register, i was just given a dirty look. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was busy in the back and couldn't come up front. Also, only about half of the merchandise is priced or signed. Asked an employee how much an item cost and he told me he didn't know and take it to a register for a price check. Customer service SUCKS!!!"
