"I went to the White Marsh store (Pulaski Hwy and Campbell). The staff could not have been more helpful. John in Plumbing and Tom (from Garden, I think) were especially helpful. I needed something cut to fit in my car. Some stores would have turned me away. Tom helped me find what I needed, and John assisted me the rest of the way with my purchase. Top notch and friendly customer service are so rare these days. I found both at the White Marsh Home Depot. Thanks, guys!"
"This home depot is the worst. I shop at home depot almost everyday in many areas. But every time I come to the one on rt 40 near Joppa they always give me trouble. I was in line today in self checkout when the attendant told me to push my cart behind the line. There were 4 other people in other self checkout with there cart over the line. So I asked her well does that apply to everyone? She said no just you. I then told her my mind. I'm here driving a $60000 truck. I'm not here to steal. But they always treat me as such. I try to avoid this home depot if I can help it. I had trouble returning items here before as well. I spend over $100000 in materials from home depot a yr. I have been slowly switching to lowes. They are nicer."
"Visited the garden center for some garden plants and I was not impressed. There were four rows and not much variety. Moreover, many of the plants they had appeared to have seen better days. I didn't purchase any plants as I intended to. I then shopped for curtain rods and the selection was quite limited. I found two that worked for me but overall I was not impressed with the store."
"If you enjoy doing home improvement projects, The Home Depot is the place for you - this store sells just about everything you need to improve your home. This is one of the better places to buy all the tools and materials needed to complete a DIY project. Except home appliances. The Home Depot carries a good selection of different appliances and brands, but its customer service is not the best. The return policy on major appliances may cause some headaches. In the past, I have heard complaints from other customers, and many of them were saying, “…after 48 hours of receiving the brand-new appliances, The Home Depot will not allow for returns or exchanges and directed us to the manufacturer(s).”"
