"BEWARE PRICE GOUGING and texture shaming and a BAD ARROGANT ATTITUDE BY THE OWNER KABELLY....She quoted me $75 for a blowout, and $15 for a trim but then quoted my niece $100 for a blow out and $25 for the same trim because hair is thicker texture...it's ridiculous. Niece had a relaxer the night before and our hair isn't bone straight after a relaxer. It takes a little heat to silk black hair as any stylist whose clients are black should know. It was a ridiculous pricing strategy. Because I questioned her prices and attitude, she refused me service (which is fine for me) but she refused my niece service who had already been shampooed and was sitting in the chair with her hair wet while 41 degrees outside. This review makes me furious all over again. I warned her that I was leaving a bad review and her response was "I don't care"..........PLEASE STOP PATRONIZING THOSE WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US AND GOUGE."
"First time I came it was great. the owner was there so I’m not sure if the rules only apply when she is. Second time I came- the owner was not there but I wanted a wash and set ($45) and the lady said, it’s $65 for you. I’m like why??? My hair does not even touch my shoulders (I have short hair) she said because my type of hair. Now I’m not sure if she meant length or something else but when I said I have short hair she said, oh- I meant to put $55. But on the sign it say $45..? So I’m still trying to figure out why are you trying to upcharge me? Very unfortunate. I just walked out. I don’t like feeling like I am being charged based off the way you feel On that day. I will not be coming back."
