"This was a pretty good cheesesteak. Good flavor, not dry, but I do wish it was bigger. The price of it (which was either $8 or $9) makes sense for the size. I do wish they added more cheese to it though. Their potato wedges were also good and perfectly seasoned. Service was standard and the atmosphere is very much so of a carry out spot. I personally think Soko and Tokoa’s cheesesteaks are better."
"Ordered 2 subs and a large cheese pizza. Delivery person never knocked on our door or called to let us know they dropped the order off on a bench in our yard. We waited an hour before calling bc the app said it was running late. We wouldn't have known the food was there unless I had looked outside. Called the House of Cheesesteaks, they answer with "Hello", but never say the name of the place. Told them that the food had been sitting outside for an hour, and that they delivered the wrong pizza. The guy I spoke with said we'd have to take it up with Grubhub, and he would call me back. Never did. I will never order from here again."
"Note to the owner I see writing ppl back. Do not apologize without adjustments. Otherwise the apologies are empty. And I see no willingness to personally reach out for the bigger mistakes in the posts. Just sorry we will do better. Good but as a business taking consumer dollars in a time when every dollar counts??? This is sad and poor customer service. This mistake could have made me very ill. I ordered a cheese steak, fries, and a slice of carrot cake. My carrot cake was full of mold! I work in the government with food service/safety...totally unacceptable. There was a CLEAR dot of mold on the top. Mistakes happen but for this cake to get this moldy, it was there for a while. Whatever happened to FIFO or holding periods. I could've eaten this absentmindedly. Thank God I did NOT."
"Usually this place is good for their subs but lately they been falling off. I ordered a whole cheesesteak to feed my family but only the middle of the sandwich was full. So whoever got the ends of the sandwich got bread and mayo. Not cool. When the young middle eastern guy is there at night the food is good but I went in the daytime with a female manager on shift and the food was not good."
