Nando's PERi-PERi

"I visited Sunday evening and was pretty disappointed. Most of the dining room hadn't been cleaned. The hostess, who was a bit passive aggressive, and then directed me to pick my table. I couldn't find a clean table. They took me back to the front till the tables were clean. I placed my order in the meantime. Eventually, the hostess came back and let me know she places my drink on my table (thanks for letting me know the tables were ready in the first place...) I ordered 3 thighs and two sides. The thighs were small. Smaller than what im used to from here. It looked like they were cut in half and served (see photo). For the price, this was pretty disappointing."

"Food here was delicious. I’ve previously had a bad experience with a different location and never ate at Nandos again. I had ssome Co workers convince me to eat here for lunch. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and a peach tea. Everything was delicious I tried all the dipping sauces and I like the Nandos mayo and probably the Nandos herb sauce. I definitely will try other menu items. Tea was very good too."

"I was visiting the DC area this week and when I noticed Nando’s on my GPS I knew I had to try it. My husband and I stopped in for dinner. The food was good, but I expected to be blown away and I wasn’t. I enjoyed my sandwich but the potatoes were bland. My husband ordered the honey sweet potatoes and found them to be more spicy than sweet. Maybe we’ll try dine in next time, as we ordered takeout."

"This was my second time dining at my neighborhood's Nando's. The first time, my food came out extremely late, my friend was almost done with her meal before receiving mine. And instead of getting an apology, the shift leader just gave me an excuse about their system not working properly. The second occasion was really awful. After ordering a rice bowl, I noticed a very long string of hair in my food (zoom in on the avocado). The same shift leader didn't bother to apologize nor asked the cooks (two women with lengthy black hair) to put a hairnet on or pull the hair underneath their hats. And when I received my second plate, the presentation was terrible as if they were upset that I complained about hair in my food. I was excited to have a Nando's in my neighborhood, but after these two instances, I have no desire to eat from this location again. Your customer service and food safety protocols need improvement."

"The Grilled Haloumi cheese was so the best I've have of all the Nando's I've been to. I like the food. The setup is also nice because it's open space, with plenty of natural light, it's easy to navigate through, and doesn't feel crowded. Service was fast and pleasant."
