"This place is decent for a relaxing meal. The oysters were good here, but not a lot of variety. They only offered local oysters. My partner really enjoyed the gumbo. I've had the etoufee.It was ok, I was hoping for a bit more flavor. It was a little bland. My son enjoyed the crab imperial chicken soup. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed."

"We went there late night dinner, so it was very quiet. There were only two other groups in the restaurant except for us. Service was okay (just average). We ordered 3 foods which were so tasty (5/5 for all 3 foods we ordered). We definitely enjoyed it, and can recommend this place to friends. The area around the restaurant was congested and hard to find a parking space around. Saw lots of towing signs!! So safer to ask people just in case!"

"I had a bad experience with the alligator stew , my husband had a food poisoning after he ate it , we went there with a large crew and had a good time ,customer service was great, and the food was good, they have a delicious coconut tres leches , I enjoyed it ! But my complaint is that I called them to let them know my husband was sick after eating there, and they never called me back to ask how he was feeling or if he is ok , so it was the first and last time for me"

"This place appears to be located in a rough part of Alexandria. Upon entry its a older place and alpt of local drug addicts and alcoholics seem to stroll in and out of there. That should have been my sign to turn around but because of all the great reviews I stayed. I got the blackend scallops to start which was way softer and Chewier than I'd prefer didn't taste fresh. I then got the shrimp and crab etoufee. It tasted like can gravy , frozen mini shrimp that was in the freezer to long. Overall didn't really enjoy my time there. The service was nice though."
