"Very generous portions of delicious food! It was quite crowded and felt a little bit cramped. That said, our food came out quickly and the service was wonderful. We were visiting from out of state, but we'll go again if we are ever in the area."
"There is sometimes a short wait to be seated but it’s because this place is so good! I’ve been back several times and I get the pancake combo and share a side of home fries since they are so good."
"The wall decor was nice. The ladies were nice. I ordered a sweet tea, however it did not taste like sweet tea. I ordered liver onions with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The broccoli was bland. The mash potatoes tasted like seafood water and the liver was ok. Overall, this won’t be my choice to dine at again."
"Even though I believe it's run by Asians now it had to be owned by white people in the past and so it didn't feel inviting when we walked in. It was another black couple there so we decided to stay. As for the food, it was ok (biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict) but the potatoes were pretty good. I ordered them on the side and they came out before my biscuit and gravy which was weird. I like my stuff to come out together so that gave them a strike. After it was noticed that we weren't so pleased by that the lady we assumed was the owner started making sure we were good and brought the rest of our food out. I won't say we won't return bc again we enjoyed the potatoes but I can't really say it will be soon but for the price I might if I'm starving and on a budget. Oh yeah, the coffee was pretty good too."
"This was my first time there. We came here bc our usual cafe was closed. And im so glad that it was. My husband and I loved it. The food was so good. The service was great and the customers were so nice as well. We will definitely be back."
