"The first time I went i got micros I really loved hair. Unfortunately it was extremely to tight. The hair they supplied was suppose to human straight hair, the hair felt and looked like plastic hair. I had to keep dipping in hot water to try to keep it from getting bushy. I just kept my hair in a bun. Also she was telling other clients they shouldn't get what they cae in for and talke the into other styles. Also someone want small knotless and the lady did them I would consider medium to large because I braid hair I just cant braid my own. The client didn't like her hair so she made her pay once the girl seen the size and was a little upset and only stated that the size was wrong and it shouldn't be 300. I called to see if I could bring my own hair to give them another chance. I also was going to ask for it not to be as tight. The manager or owner gave me one price over the phone the day before with me bringing my own hair. The day I got there they was late opening which I didn't mind. They manager or owner finally arrived and started to give me attitude after she asked what I was getting. I said micros she looked and seen that I had my own hair and that's when the attitude started. She said oh two packs is not going to be enough hair. I said ok I will get another pack. Then she stated they couldn't work with that hair. After that she said my hair was shorter than their hair. Then she said the price and told her that is not what she tod me last time which was only one month and a half ago also ove the phone the day before I arrived. Her reply is everything is going up I said in a day. Her response is micors takes to long and they really don't like doing them. I was like wow. Then she kept talking in her language to the lady that was braiding my hair about micros. Then some else came in hair about the same leght as mines she wanted cornrows the owner/manager talked her into getting micros and looked at me to show her and stated their hair is longer I just laughed. I wanted to say and the hair feels like plastic but I said I would just leave a review. The owner/manager was doing the same thing talking people into other styles then what they came for. All she want to do really is walk around the shop trying to be cute with her BBL, ugly attitude and terrible customer service."

"These ladies where really fun. One lady braided the other chatted. They speak french, as do I. So it was nice getting my hair done and talking. I was able to get my hair done last min. They squeezed me in. They are reasonably priced. I was quoted all kinds of numbers by 2 different woman. (that part I didn’t liked) In the end I ended up paying 200 flat fee after 5-5.5 hours of braiding. I think the woman that braided my hair, braided a little too tight at my edges but I can work with her to get it less tight. Overall, enjoyed my experience. Ill go back for box braids probably next"

"5.17.21 This was my first visit to this shop for box braids. I do not know the name of the hairstylist, but she did a fantastic professional job. I love the care she took with my hair and she stay until the job was done. I would like to give the shop 5 stars but: 1) I waited an hour because the hairstylist/owner/scheduler was late, 2) I was was given a phone quote of $160 and up. I paid $200 which is not bad! 3) There is a $20 coupon for making Monday or Wednesday appointments which was not honored. I was told the coupon is based on the length of the hair, which is not spelled out on the website. I'm a business woman too, and if I have a coupon on my website I would honor it no matter what. 4) I think things could be a little cleaner, especially first thing Monday morning. I did speak to the owner about the coupon and made a suggestion to either remove it or add the criteria of the value. Would I go back, yes. I'm hoping this is a place I can return to time and time again. Everyone very friendly. I've been to other braiding shops and the experiences were not favorable. The stylus that was the only one in the shop (at the time) placed a second call to ensure the arrival of the stylus scheduled to do my hair. The owner apologized for her lateness, but If i was her, i would have honored the coupon. I'm a big tipper, but the lateness and the coupon put a damper on that. Hopefully on my next trip my hair will be just as fabulous and the coupon situation will be remedied. I never write reviews but felt this one necessary."

"I will never go anywhere else to braid my hair. I love all these ladies. Just got my hair done yesterday and slept like a baby. My hair wasn’t tight at all and I always get compliments on my braids. I recommend this shop if you want to feel like family and not just a customer. They treat you like they knew you forever. Since it’s a small shop they move fast and you’re not there all day. I missed them during this pandemic so glad they’re back working."
