"I’ve always loved Fords. This visit was no exception as the service was great, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Ford’s Fish Shack has a great selection of beers. They also have a unique collection of mixed drinks. But the most attractive offering is their food. And as always, it was outstanding! If you are budget conscious, and if you carefully choose from the menu you will come out with a surprisingly affordable meal."
"Fantastic oysters at the bar! Sophia was a top-tier server, friendly and knowledgeable, making excellent suggestions, making sure everyone had everything they wanted. I enjoyed a bowl of New England clam chowder, followed by the excellent shucktober oyster deal, filet mignon, crab cake, and sautéed mushrooms. Everything was magnificent, so delicious. I finished the meal with a decadent seasonal cheesecake, pumpkin spice with caramel, and a rich, dark roast cup of coffee. I will absolutely be back!"
"Can't go wrong at Ford's! I made the trek out here since the South Riding outpost is closed (new location nearby opens in Feb or so). Luckily one of my favorite beertenders was there (all South Riding employees were offered positions here or in Ashburn while construction is going on)."
"So I stop in for happy hour when I first move here ... decent drink prices... decent appetizers. Bartender was great she was very attentive. Today we stop in and had the fish and chips (good tartar sauce) and the Black Sea Bass (the Special), both were outstanding. I was actually a little surprised. Our waitress was really good making the experience more inviting. Will definitely be back again.... For nothing else for the fish and chips."
"Nice atmosphere and friendly hostesses. The waitress (Teresa) was helpful and quick to refill drinks. The clam chowder was creamy with a good balance of potatoes and clams. It had good flavor. The fish and chips were delicious. Flaky, perfectly cooked fish with nicely crispy batter. I'm usually not a fan of thin fries, but theses were cooked well and not overly crispy. Had the five layer chocolate cake for desert and it was delicious...not too sweet with a good chocolate flavor. Highly recommended!"
