"I recently dined at Plaza Azteca and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying. The only redeeming aspect of my visit was the chips and salsa, which were quite enjoyable. However, the rest of the meal did not meet expectations. The queso dip was a major letdown. It was excessively runny and seemed diluted, indicating a possible attempt by the restaurant to cut costs. This lack of quality was a clear sign of skimping on ingredients, which is not what you expect when dining out. Similarly, the margaritas were disappointing. They contained very little alcohol, again suggesting that the restaurant was trying to save money at the expense of quality. When you order a margarita, you expect a certain standard, and Plaza Azteca failed to meet that. As for the food, it was below par. The flavors and preparation did not live up to what I have come to expect from a good Mexican dining experience. To make matters worse, while the service was friendly, it was inefficient and slow, adding to the overall lack of satisfaction with my visit. I believe in giving constructive feedback, and I hope the management at Plaza Azteca takes this as an opportunity to improve both their food quality and service. As it stands, I do not plan on returning to this location anytime soon. It's disappointing because a restaurant with such potential should strive to offer its customers a much better experience."

"We eat here often, and the food is consistently good. The staff is friendly and we never have to wait long, if at all to get a table. The restaurant has live music several nights a week, with Karaoke as well. If you don't like a lot of noise, you may want to call to find out when the live music is playing to avoid a loud dining experience. They usually have some sort of programming on several of the monitors around the dining area, and it's a pretty lively place overall. They have a bar in the back by the stage, and plenty of tables in the front. There is covered outside dining as well for good weather. This is a popular place in a nice spot in Leesburg Village."

"Updates They overcharged me for extra tortilla. It says 3 on my receipt and I only got 2. When i asked the server, she didn't seem to understand my question. Also, the portions got very small. It's amazing. Our server, Vanessa, was very kind and attentive. Food was good too. Lunch special is such a deal. Nothing above like 11 dollars, the portions are great too. I ordered Steak fajita (11dollars), and beef quasadila with two beef tacos (8.5 dollara). So great! Chips and salsa were very yum yum too. Easy to park on street and they also have parking garage."

"Mixed bag here: the food was good for generic Mexican food if not overly flavorful. The “table side guacamole” was made at some table but definitely not ours, though it did taste relatively fresh. Excellent service with a friendly waitress. That said, the restaurant is tired with ripped booths, non-functional TVs at the booths (?) and mints at the host stand with a warning to only take one per customer. One wonders what else they’re skimping on if the mints are a precious commodity. Price was reasonable and about what you would expect to pay for this level of food and experience."

"I’ve loved eating at Plaza Azteca for many years now, but have only ever been there for dinner until recently. I got lunch take-out and was pleasantly surprised at their lunch specials. Lots of options, nice portions, at really great prices! I was wowed at how much I loved what I got (pork pastor tacos w/ sunny side up egg). The others in my group also enjoyed what they got. Highly recommend this place!"
